Clean & comfortable but tired & lacking basic facilities.
Pros:

We just stayed one night in Puri Rai on our way to Lombok.

The Hotel was good for that one night stay.

The bed was comfy & the position of the Hotel, right beside the port, was fabulous.

The room was reasonably clean but lacked creature comforts.

It was good value for money & I would probably stay again just as a transit stay.

Cons:

The Hotel lacked the little things.

A kettle was supplied but no Tea & Coffee making facilities. Very weird indeed.

I asked in reception for some cups & tea & Coffee, which they happily supplied but put it on a tray & I had to juggle it back to our, up the back, upstairs room.

All a little strange in my eyes & not particularly good service.

The Hotel feels unloved & depleted. Not a lot of maintenance or love & attention being put back into it, which makes me sad.

It served its purpose for a one night stay & I would probably stay again because of the position of it, so close to the Post.

Perfect place for getting ferry
Pros:

The grounds were beautiful. 3 pools many statues and temples i felt safe. Great location to pier. Great value though I would stay there again!

Cons:

Breakfast was AWFUL. the staff at restaurant and reception were unfriendly

Pros:

De locatie is top, direct naast de haven. De lakens op het bed leken schoon. Het ontbijt was simpel, maar prima.

Cons:

De badkamer was niet schoongemaakt. Er lagen allemaal afgeknipte nagels en veel haren op de vloer.

Pros:

The hotel has a good position to take the ferry to Gili or Lombok on the following morning. Really close to the jetty, like 5 minutes by walk.
Nice personal working there.

Cons:

It seems the hotel lives on ancients glories. Some of the tiles in the pool were broken and pieces lying there around.
Some things should be renewed also in the room.
The room was clean, but there where some dead insects behind one bed, close to the wall. The really old small fridge was super noisy, therefore I unplugged it for the night.

Nevertheless, good for one night and the staff is nice.

Pros:

До порта 1 минута пешком. Нас заселили часа в 2 ночи, так как был ночной рейс, а деньги сказали возьмем, когда проснетесь. Удобная кровать.

Nicely tucked back from the road so there was minimal noise. The 3 pools are lovely and clean. Large room with very large bathroom. All clean and well maintained

Great location for Gili islands and Lombok
Pros:

Great location for getting to Lombok or Gili islands. The buffet breakfast was great. Did not enjoy ordering the breakfast though as it took time to come.

Cons:

Slow breakfast. Staff seemed indifferent and unenthusiastic — we didn’t feel welcomed on arrival. Service was slow and we often had to seek help rather than having it offered
