Helpful staff.
Pros:

Location in the center of Yuksum. Good staff can help with a cab to Pelling and you can make choice from several rooms. Good rate value to money.

Cons:

A little bit cold in December. No good views on the first floor but you can take a room on the second or third.

Comfortable stay in the heart of town
Pros:

The big plus at this hotel was an attentive and caring staff, and an excellent cook. I can only speak for the dorm, which was spacious, and the shared bathroom, cold water only (there is a coil heating device which I didn't use) was clean and tidy. It is good value for the budget backpacker.

Pros:

Very decent option in Yuksom. Great location just in the center. Yuksom is very quiet so it is an advantage. Spacious rooms with big windows and big, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Perhaps the best stay in Yuksom.

Staying at Himsagar was overall a very good experience.
Pros:

I like the property staff’s behaviour, foods were good, rooms are good, clean, amenities are good.

Cons:

Room should have almirahs/ Wardrobe so that we can arrange our clothes and luggage there.

Pros:

It’s in Yuksom.

Cons:

The 24/7 service only works if you have an Indian cell phone number to call someone. The front desk was never staffed. The hotel was empty and characterless, a little eerie even. It was overpriced for what it was.

Pros:

The location of Himsagar was perfect. The manager was very helpfull with organizing a taxii to Pelling and providing a internet connection.

Cons:

Because of the marble floors it was quite noisy in the hotel. The bathroom could be more clean..
