A comfortable and clean hotel with a beautiful view.
Pros:

It is one of the rare hotels with an incredibly beautiful view; you wouldn’t even need to go anywhere else. Because I have asthma, they kindly gave me a better room. The pool is spotless, the beds are very clean, and even on days when breakfast is not an open buffet, they provide plenty of food. The staff are extremely helpful

Cons:

In such a beautiful hotel, there were no face towels in rom.There was only one small bar of soap for two people. I think this is an issue related to the housekeeping staff, and the management needs to pay attention to this.

Невероятно красивое место и отель!!! Бронировали 2 стандарта, но нам бесплатно повысили категорию номера до делюкса! Удивительно, но в таком большом отеле мы были почти одни! Номера большие чистые, у нас был дуплекс с кухней, чему мы были очень рады! Рядом с отелем есть магазины и рестораны! По запросу на рецепшене выдали фен! Также были достаточно неплохие завтраки с потрясающим видом на озеро! Паром причаливает прямо к пирсу отеля!

The location and the outdoor facilities are good and clean
Waiting staff are very friendly

Cons:

Hotel rooms are not great. There’s only one electric socket which is used for the television. Bathroom door can not be closed. House keeping failed to top up/replace the soaps. Very limited offer on breakfast and the live music/karaoke from the hotel next door is too loud.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The accommodation was clean, beautifully designed, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet—perfect for a restful getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with cheerful smiles, making us feel genuinely welcome.

The food was delicious; I especially loved the special Nasi Goreng, Rissoles, and refreshing fresh orange juice. I was lucky to have a room with a lake view—absolutely stunning and serene. It added a peaceful charm to the whole experience.

I would happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Cons:

While I personally had no issues, I do want to note that the path to the accommodation involves quite a few stairs, which could be challenging for guests with disabilities or limited mobility. There may be a ramp available, but I didn’t notice one during my stay.

Great lakeside location with beautiful views.
Pros:

Lovely lakeside location. Spacious, clean rooms. Our two rooms had large private balcony with lake views.

Cons:

Jet skis zooming by front of hotel from 8.00am until evening.

Hôtel agréable et bien situé, avec un bon accueil. Les chambres sont confortables et propres.

Cons:

En revanche, il y a beaucoup d’escaliers pour accéder aux chambres et aux espaces communs. Cela peut être difficile pour les personnes handicapées ou celles ayant des problèmes de mobilité. À garder en tête si vous voyagez avec des bagages lourds ou si vous avez des difficultés à marcher.

Nice stay at Samosir
Pros:

A perfect hotel with an excellent location. There is a large swimming pool, a restaurant, breakfast, and the option to rent a motorbike. The rooms were exceptionally large and spacious.

Cons:

I had a negative experience with the hotel staff. The woman at reception — I don’t know her name — was incompetent and unhelpful. She was unable to provide clear or satisfactory answers even to the simplest questions. Moreover, when I asked about things like currency exchange, she gave me incorrect and misleading information. She told me there was no money exchange in Tuk Tuk and that the nearest one was 7 km away, when in fact there was a money changer just a few dozen meters from the hotel. Similarly misleading were her answers regarding the ferry schedule to Parapat.

I also found it very disappointing that the hotel didn’t inform me in advance about the ferry options to Samosir Island, which caused complications when booking and choosing the right ferry.

A good place if you just want to soak up Lake Toba and not much else.
Pros:

The location on Lake Toba is great! It is also near restaurants in Tuktuk. The property is quite large and seems to cater to tour groups. The breakfast is pretty generous.

Cons:

The shower was never even lukewarm. The constant jet ski activity is pretty annoying. I’m not the hotel can do much about it. On the weekends be prepared for karaoke late into the night.
