Pros:

Amazing property with lots to explore. Location is a bit interior but worth it coz it gives you the full nature experience. Giant rooms with great amenities and facilities. Really great food. Very cooperative and helpful staff.

Exceptionally helpful with park permit. In fact they went above and beyond. Sourced a tuk tuk to get us to the base of the Lion sanctuary safari. Also a taxi for our onward journey

Fantastic stay
Pros:

We had three fantastic nights here in a riverside room, which I would recommend as it has a balcony overlooking the river and you can happily birdwatch, monkeywatch and crocodilewatch. The room and bathroom was clean. Water and towels provided each day. The staff were very friendly throughout our experience here, they arranged an auto-rickshaw to the park main entrance for a very fair rate. We had the all inclusive package which I would recommend as the hotel is a 15 minute drive from Sasan Gir village, all the meals offered were genuinely tasty and the meals did rotate for variety. The grounds around are lovely and you can tour the mango farm and go down to the river. At the river you can see tens of crocodiles and if you head down about 1 hour before sunset you can watch them stalk and predate the various wading birds on the bank (it is relatively safe as the birds are always on the far side of the river). Overall one of our highlights of Gujarat.

Pros:

Location is pain in the ass. Food is nice but they have fixed menu. The staff keeps you dialing on your landline even on your phone till you reach the place where you will be eating you breakfast, lunch or dinner. It felt like that i am in boarding school after a point it was to irritating.

Large clean room, great food, and surrounded by nature
Pros:

Anil farms is located on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. My room was spacious and clean. My balcony overlooked the river. I could see crocodiles and a variety of birds right from my balcony. It was a nice retreat after being in the city. One of the best parts about Anil farmhouse was the food! It is served family style at set times throughout the day instead of ordering from the menu. They had a great variety and everything was sol goo! I loved dining this way because i was able to try a variety of different dishes. They also offer a high tea in the afternoon. It is beautiful to explore around the gardens and mango farm. There are many seating areas throughout the property. There are not a lot of activities offered at the hotel, but i was happy to stroll around the grounds and along the river path soaking in all of the nature.

Relax and peace in a wonderful place
Pros:

Everything, the place was amazing, surrounded by beautiful gardens and plants. From the room we could see the river where you could spot crocodiles and deers. Also it was plenty of birds so it is ideal for bird watching. Staff was really helpful and supportive. WiFi was great!

Cons:

Dinner is served between 8pm and 9.30pm and if you have safari the day after it would be nice to have dinner a bit earlier

Stylish hotel in attractive grounds
Pros:

Stylish hotel in very attractive grounds. Comfortable spacious room. Tasty evening meals.

Cons:

Limited food choice if you didn’t fancy Indian food for breakfast or lunch. It would be good if there were more options.

Good hotel with views of the hiran river, would stay again for the price offered
Pros:

Really nice hotel with good courteous staff members who spoke english.
Good value for money with all meals included in the price.
Rooms with balcony had a view of the river and faced the east for a view of sunrise in the mornings.
Free parking.
The food was nice.

Cons:

The road leading to the hotel is in a pretty poor state and navigates through some narrow residential lanes. This definitely needs improvement.

The rooms were lovely and spacious however it lacked some cleanliness for example inside the cupboards and needed some minor repairs and decoration.

The dining room could do with some modernising

The pool changing facilities need to be cleaned and repaired as they were dirty and unused.

Calm relaxing stay in an excellent location for those venturing into the national park
Pros:

We used this hotel as a base for trips into the national park and were extremely impressed by the facilities and helpfulness of the staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful, tasty and nicely served.
