Anil Farms Gir Jungle Resort

Très beau resort au milieu d’un jardin luxuriant et très bien entretenu. Un havre de paix tres appréciable, surtout en période de canicule (la piscine était aussi tres agréable).
Proximité de la rivière: nous avons fait une courte marche (5 minutes) et avons pu voir des buffles et des crocodiles sur l’autre rive et dans l’eau (partir sur la gauche depuis l’hôtel)
Nous avons séjourné à la saison des mangues et avons pu acheté celles de la ferme.
Le personnel nous a aidé pour finaliser notre safari.
La nourriture locale était excellente.

В первую очередь наше знакомство с отелем началось за полгода. Мы обратились за помощью в организации сафари и трансфера. Сафари из нашей страны нам никак не удавалось организовать и нам на помощь пришёл господин Анил. Благодаря ему у нас всё получилось и мы стали самыми счастливыми людьми, потому что увидели индийских львов несколько раз. Огромное Вам спасибо, господин Анил, мы всегда будем помнить Вашу помощь.
Комнаты в отеле достойные, просторные и чистые. С террасы вид на реку. Кровати очень удобные. В ресторане обслуживающий персонал был всегда рад угодить. Особенно запомнились чаепития на природе. А также великолепный сад манго.

The property felt like we were in forest our room was beautiful overlooking the river where deer came early morning to drink water. Great hospitality.

The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. The cook and the serving staff were kind, humble, and happy to serve us. The food was very good.

Amazing property with lots to explore. Location is a bit interior but worth it coz it gives you the full nature experience. Giant rooms with great amenities and facilities. Really great food. Very cooperative and helpful staff.

Exceptionally helpful with park permit. In fact they went above and beyond. Sourced a tuk tuk to get us to the base of the Lion sanctuary safari. Also a taxi for our onward journey

We had three fantastic nights here in a riverside room, which I would recommend as it has a balcony overlooking the river and you can happily birdwatch, monkeywatch and crocodilewatch. The room and bathroom was clean. Water and towels provided each day. The staff were very friendly throughout our experience here, they arranged an auto-rickshaw to the park main entrance for a very fair rate. We had the all inclusive package which I would recommend as the hotel is a 15 minute drive from Sasan Gir village, all the meals offered were genuinely tasty and the meals did rotate for variety. The grounds around are lovely and you can tour the mango farm and go down to the river. At the river you can see tens of crocodiles and if you head down about 1 hour before sunset you can watch them stalk and predate the various wading birds on the bank (it is relatively safe as the birds are always on the far side of the river). Overall one of our highlights of Gujarat.

Location is pain in the ass. Food is nice but they have fixed menu. The staff keeps you dialing on your landline even on your phone till you reach the place where you will be eating you breakfast, lunch or dinner. It felt like that i am in boarding school after a point it was to irritating.

Anil farms is located on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. My room was spacious and clean. My balcony overlooked the river. I could see crocodiles and a variety of birds right from my balcony. It was a nice retreat after being in the city. One of the best parts about Anil farmhouse was the food! It is served family style at set times throughout the day instead of ordering from the menu. They had a great variety and everything was sol goo! I loved dining this way because i was able to try a variety of different dishes. They also offer a high tea in the afternoon. It is beautiful to explore around the gardens and mango farm. There are many seating areas throughout the property. There are not a lot of activities offered at the hotel, but i was happy to stroll around the grounds and along the river path soaking in all of the nature.

Everything, the place was amazing, surrounded by beautiful gardens and plants. From the room we could see the river where you could spot crocodiles and deers. Also it was plenty of birds so it is ideal for bird watching. Staff was really helpful and supportive. WiFi was great!
