The food was good and there were both Indian and more international options. From what I observed, many travelers seemed comfortable there and the place had a very social atmosphere, with guests often spending time together in the common area.
I arrived the day before Holi after booking months in advance a bed in a 4-bed female dorm (₹1200/night), but the room I had reserved was not available and I was placed in a 6-bed dorm instead at the same price. This led to a frustrating misunderstanding with the owner at the beginning, and at one point he suggested that I could cancel the booking if I preferred. Since it was the day before Holi and accommodation is very limited at that time, that wasn’t really an option for me.
After that initial situation, the owner was generally cordial during my stay, although I mostly used the hostel just to sleep and spent most of my time outside.
During my stay the place also felt quite crowded. Several dorms are located right in front of the common area, and there was only one washroom (with shower and toilet) shared by guests, staff, and people coming to eat, which sometimes made using the shower or toilet difficult.
The hostel has a very social, laid-back atmosphere where people often hang out together late into the night. Many travelers seemed to enjoy that vibe, but if you’re looking for a quieter place to rest, it may not be the best fit (at least during busy periods like Holi).
Open your mini! All good!
Loved everything, lovely place with beautiful rooftop, comfy rooms and nice people but most of all the staff and especially the owner Govinda, the kindest man every, my pleasure to stay there and share this time in such good company ❤️ can't wait to be back
Everything was great
Please avoid booking at Zoola Palace!
I had a very disappointing experience with Zoola Palace in Pushkar.
I booked a family room one month in advance through Booking.com and even called them on the day of arrival to reconfirm. They assured me the room was available. But just two hours before check-in, while I was traveling with my family from Hyderabad, the manager called and asked me to cancel because their existing guests didn’t want to check out.
I was already on the way with my family, including my elderly mother, in extreme heat. When I reached the hotel, they refused to give us any room and kept forcing me to cancel. The manager spoke very rudely and even tried to snatch my phone when I started recording. My family felt scared and helpless.
We were left on the road in harsh weather and had to struggle to find another hotel at the last minute.
This was not just inconvenience — it was mental stress and complete lack of basic hospitality and responsibility toward guests.
Travelers, please be careful. I would strongly suggest avoiding bookings at Zoola Palace so you don’t face what we went through.

Food, arrangements
All good
We did not stay at this hotel. The owner informed us to have overbooked because of Holi one hour before arrival. He arranged a room for us next door for the same price. Later he arranged rooms for us in town. That was reasonable for canceling on such short time and we appreciate it. Restaurant at the rooftop was ok.
The room next door was overcharged for what you get and it is not very clear to us who got our money in the end. We did not like the fact that Zoostel owners cook who did the finances, persisted on 3 rupees in the end. Three rupees, come on. It all had the smell of big business on Holi, covered under lots of "my friend".
Comfy bed, quiet area, no bike horns! shortish walk to lake, enthusiastically friendly staff, no complaints..
Nada
OMG Govinda the owner is just amazing ... you feel like at home instantly ! We were a few backpackers there and we were extending as it's so hard to leave this place ... also one was kept coming back every year for the past 7 years!!! That's says it all ...
Honestly might not be perfect, but nowhere is perfect but Govinda make it the perfect to be, to stay , to relax
Amazing views from the rooftop , good food too
Cute dog too there !
Bonus : dorm have no bunk beds which is great obv !
Was staying at another one that I left after one night as it was aweful (hostel started with a V ... with a lot of fake reviews ) ... same price more or less and literary 2 opposite end of the spectrum !!!
Nothing
Very nice place, good food and the host is amazing nice person to talk and help
Nothing really, all good :)
Greater atmosphere and location is too good and all the temple and places are walking distance through this hotel and restaurant facility and food are too delicious as home made food
Bestel er zeker een Hello to the queen.
.
Zoola Palace is absolutely the best place to stay in Pushkar!
The rooms are nice and comfortable, they make a lovely fire every night that creates such a special atmosphere.
It’s close to the lake yet perfectly quiet and peaceful.
Govinda and his amazing team go above and beyond to help you with anything and truly make you feel at home.
Can’t wait to come back!
Good stap
Thanku
De vibe, ook van de eigenaar
The location was absolutely perfect, and the terrace made it even more special. Having meals there with a peaceful mountain view felt truly magical. What touched me the most was the owner, Govinda, such a warm and genuine soul. He treats every guest like family, not just like customers. This stay honestly felt like home. I am definitely coming back here on my next visit to Pushkar. Feeling truly lucky to
have found Zoola Palace
There is nothing which i didn't like.. everything was good
L'emplacement
