I stayed here for almost a week. Good location. The room was cozy except for the fact that I could hear the rooms next door air conditioner every time it was turned on. Kinda frustrating as I enjoyed having my back door open for fresh air. It was noisy. My room was right next to the lobby. It’s nice that the hotel has so much space to relax and gather, but this became frustrating for me as I could hear most groups talking at all hours of the day/night. I was also right next to the restaurant seating. The tv in this area was often turned way up in the morning at 6 am. And I could hear people dining and their conversations. I wasn’t real impressed with their buffet breakfast that was included in the high room rates. They served mostly white carbs drenched in oil. Fried rice, fried noodles, French toast. They did have fresh fruit, which I made sure to get enough of. But the buffet breakfast was usually very greasy and low quality food.

As Sumbawa does not participate with Gojek or Grab, there is no food delivery. And there is no food within walking distance, so I had to rely on the hotel restaurant which had good food, just a bit pricey. The hotel has drivers and car rental, but I found my own tour as the hotel’s was a bit expensive as well.

The location of this hotel only 5 minutes from Sumbawa airport. The staff is really friendly. The room is nice and clean. The price also reasonable.
Definitely the best hotel in Sumbawa. Breakfast is not so much option but it taste good. I have balcony in my room even though is not facing outside hotel building.

I have given it 5 stars as I truly think it deserves. I come to Indonesia for work and so language is an issue for me specially when I move away from Jakarta. But this property, absolutely no issues with English (everyone knew it well). The Hotel is approx 300 from Airport entrance (you still can see runway from hotel gate). I stayed in their single bed room which I think is one of the best as far as amenities,cleanliness, size of room are concerned. Pls. see my photos to get an idea. I liked their cafe outside, a good place to beer/coffee when it is raining. The furniture is also not typical hotel room but looks traditional style. I had a slight issue in mobile network in the room but not sure about others. Definitely staying here again whenever back to Sumbawa Besar.

Stayed 2 separate nites between a 3 day fishing trip . I was overall quite pleased with Samawa Transit Hotel , I’m thinking it’s one of the better hotels in town . I shared a room with my buddy 500K IDR a nite
The room was a fine , clean , comfortable and a decent tv but there was no fridge to cool our drinks .
Good helpful English speaking front desk staff and a good basic Indonesian breakfast buffet . Nice separate coffee bar with outside patio ....great properly brewed coffee also !

The best representative hotel in sumbawa city. Breakfast just very very an ordinary. Good location near airport. The room was standart but convenient for rest. Try it when you go to sumbawa. Sabalong samalewa.

Stayed here twice, the first one is on their old part of the hotel and the second one is on their newer part of the hotel. The first stay is not okay, the room is bit dusty, drainage seemed not working properly (left lingering smells so that I have to turn exhaust fan all the time), but the second stay is very okay. Comfortable room, clean bathroom, adequate TV channel.. could not complain anymore.
