Can be better
Pros:

To see the sunrise directly from your bed with the sun's early rays shimmering the backwaters right in the backyard of your room is absolutely heartwarming.

The view from the balcony where the breakfast is served is delightful.

Cons:

The building is dated. The bathroom was not cleaned and lacked toiletries. The soap and shampoo dispensers were broken which I found only on entering the shower. The staff although apologetic provided me instead a face soap and a few shampoo sachets later as the dispensers could not be fixed.

The lane from the main road to the facility is very narrow and maynot allow large cars/suv to traverse. Luckily I was driving a compact car.

A huge tree in the front of the building had fallen and most of it had been removed except for its huge uprooted base taking up most of the car parking space.
Although the breakfast was served well by the hostess, it's hard to enjoy during hot weather (March to May) even with the ceiling fans going at full speed.

Pros:

Savii and Asha made the best hosts.
It was our first experience of a home stay.
Break from tv.
Savii saved me from the lizard.

Cons:

Just found out that restaurant was not operational and only breakfast was available. No tea station in room only upstairs by the kitchen. A bit inconvenient as weather was hot. Only fans in dining area. Views beautiful. Need mosquito sprays in rooms.

Don't miss out if you're staying in this area. Don't miss the chilli out Cafe 2 km away for sunset.
Pros:

The location, the staff, the room, the breafast. Everything was wonderful. Savinay, Asha and Shiji were so kind and fun to talk to and helpful for whatever I needed. The location is absolutely serene and beautiful. I Walked out of my room and there was an eagle just sitting there before it flew away, the views of the river and the Chinese fishing nets was wonderful. And the sunrise!!! And sunset over the ocean a few minutes walk away... Oh and the shower!! Fabulous water pressure too and lovely big shower!

Pros:

Schönes kleines Haus, nur vier Zimmer. Traumhafte, ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser.
Ein besonderer Pluspunkt sind die ausgesprochen aufmerksamen, freundlichen Mitarbeiter*innen.
Einfaches, aber sehr leckeres, täglich wechselndes, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück.
Ist für uns nicht "um die Ecke", aber wenn wir es noch einmal nach Kerala schaffen... sehr gerne wieder.

Cons:

Nur Frühstück - jedoch solide Restaurantempfehlungen, die in wenigen Minuten erreichbar sind.

Pros:

From the moment me and my mother arrived, we were greeted by a smile. The room was above our expectations and the cleanest room I’ve stayed in in India. View was stunning, staff was amazing, breakfast was great and overall experience was far above expectation. I deeply recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and overall lovely experience in kerala! 11/10

Very nice stay, highly recommend
Pros:

Very nice place, good value for money, incredible staff, very attentive and helpful, the view on backwater is amazing.

Cons:

I can’t say I didn’t like, just if you work on vacation as I do:) the WiFi is not reaching some of the rooms, only terrace, but otherwise available on the rooftop.
