Pros:

Hôtel de très bon goût et très joli.

Cons:

On ne peut pas réellement se baigner car la piscine est occupée par des profs de piscine pour les jeunes.
Pas beaucoup de communication entre le personnel et les touristes.
Un matin, on voulait prendre le petit déjeuner, mais on sait vite rendu compte qu'on ne pouvait pas car ils installaient la table pour un mariage.
Du coup, on a dû aller ailleurs pour prendre notre petit déjeuner à côté de la piscine et il y avait un cours de piscine pour les jeunes, ce qui fait que c'était très bruyant.

Clean and spacious room, afternoon tea, and the hotel's interior and exterior are fabuluous!

Cons:

The breakfast's location was moved to the area nearby the swimming pool, which is a smoking area, in the first day of our stay. It was uncomfortable when there was a guest smoking nearby our table, and moreover, near our child. The staff apologised for that and explained that the non smoking area that's used to be the location for breakfast was booked for a wedding.

Pros:

L'hotel est magnifique et la chambre était très spacieuse et luxueuse. Le personnel etzit très serviable et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner était très correct.

Cons:

Le restaurant de l'hôtel (hors petit déjeuner) était vraiment très cher pour des petites quantités.

On nous a aussi réveillé le premier mati pour savoir si on allait prendre notre petit déjeuner, alors que nous étions arrivés tard la veille.

Beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, huge room, lovely staff. Huge choice of breakfast dishes. Free afternoon tea at the pool.

Cons:

No sunbeds at the pool. Safety deposit box not attached to anything.

Mooi hotel, goede locatie, prima kamer. Gastvrije ontvangst. Restaurant goed en ontbijt uitgebreid.

Cons:

Het zwembad heeft geen ligbedjes. Twee kleine bankjes. In het zwembad wordt voortdurend zwemles gegeven, hierdoor kun je er eigenlijk niet zwemmen.
De kamer heeft maar 1 stoel.

Our stay at Mahalaya – The Legacy in Solo City exceeded every expectation. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into a longer one because we enjoyed the experience so much—we happily extended our stay by an extra day.

From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, professional, knowledgeable, and always eager to help, making every interaction effortless and enjoyable.

The dining options throughout the property were exceptional. Each restaurant offered delicious, high-quality food with a great variety, and every meal became something we looked forward to.

Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but the Kids Club was outstanding. It was thoughtfully designed, well-managed, and gave our kids an unforgettable experience filled with fun activities while we had time to relax and enjoy the resort.

The property itself is beautifully maintained, with a wonderful atmosphere that combines comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality. It’s rare to find a hotel where every aspect of the experience—from accommodations and dining to service and family amenities—is consistently excellent.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Mahalaya – The Legacy. It is one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we would gladly return the next time we’re in Solo. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.

Koloniaal hotel op een prima locatie in Solo.
Pros:

Koloniaal gebouw op een centrale locatie in Solo. Een supermarkt om de hoek en dicht bij treinstation Balapan. Royale kamer en badkamer. Het ontbijt was prima, niet heel bijzonder. Gratis autorit naar het treinstation na uitchecken.

Cons:

Het hotel is behoorlijk gehorig. Je hoort alles van je (boven)buren van (telefoon)gesprekken tot appjes die binnenkomen. Het bed is ruim, maar de matrassen zijn hard. Kraanwater kun je niet gebruiken om water te koken voor thee. Je krijgt twee kleine flesjes water, de literflessen die er staan daar moet je voor betalen. Supermarkt om de hoek, dat is wel zo prettig!
