No frills but no complaints.
Pros:

Friendly staff and locals in bar and adjoining cafe, good breakfast, clean bed and shower room.

Cons:

Room very small. Toilet crammed in between wall and shower enclosure. No real ale or premium lagers (Madri doesn't count) in pub.

Pros:

Located well to the city centre. We used our car and took about 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the centre. Loads of parking along the road. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Cons:

Was basic but had everything we needed. Only 1 pillow per person.

Great place for quick overnight stay as we continued our journey.
Cons:

I liked it but it was a tight staircase to carry up any luggage, and I didn't realise how close the wall was to the end of the bed. Check in was pretty easy at the pub section of the hotel. The pub closes around 11pm-12am so no noises were heard. Plenty of free street parking. I like that one room fits like three people and I enjoyed the kettle, TV and hair dryer.

Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend or return
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Room was very small, 2 of us in the room which was a triple room, both of us couldn’t move around the room at the same time, holes in the wall, paint work dirty and badly marked, bed was ok, but not a lot of head space as there was a single bed above the double bed so not a lot of head space, mould in the shower, toilet wobbling.
