Old but not gold!
Pros:

Het ontbijt was gevarieerd en het personeel vriendelijk.

Cons:

Het uitzicht. We hadden ook een andere kamer dan gevraagd. Alles was wat verouderd. Zo was de kussensloop gescheurd, viel de elektriciteit regelmatig uit, was de douchekop aan vervanging toe. Men rekent teveel aan hoor dergelijke accommodatie.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade beim Check-in erhalten und durften im neu gebauten 3. Stock, mit unglaublich schönem Ausblick auf den Ella Rock schlafen. Es war sauber. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Der Balkom war sehr schön und geräumig. Der Hotelchef hat uns sehr geholfen. Wir konnten einen Roller mieten und den Wäscheservice in Anspruch nehmen. Alles zu gängigen, fairen Preisen. Zudem half er uns, unsere Tage vor Ort sinnvoll zu strukturieren und zu planen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und würden jedes mal wieder hier schlafen. Es war ein rundun sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Not like the pictures, stay aware

The location was quite good, nice view! And that’s about it

Cons:

This hotel is NOT like in the pictures. I have no idea how this hotel has barely- to no bad reviews. We arrived at the hotel and were a bit skeptical when the hotel lobby didn’t look proper. Then we went to our rooms, to find it looking NOTHING like in the pictures.

The WiFi wasn’t bad, because it didn’t work at all! And the receptionist said it was because we had an iPhone and not a Samsung, which is sheer nonsense. Then, like any person who WANTED to enjoy their stay in Sri Lanka, we decided to pack our stuff and go to another hotel. The worker demanded money, about paying 50% of our stay, which is understandable. But he became more welcoming afterwards and it’s alright if he needed some money. But if you’re planning on staying, maybe do that for ONE night only. No more than that

Pros:

Views were amazing. Lovely gardens and staff were very welcoming. They accommodated our requests for specific breakfast. Had a lovely stay. This property has a lift which is a massive plus. 😀

المكان مصمم بطريقه رائعه الاطلاله خلابه الوصول للفندق صعب بصراحه
الموظفين خدومين وأخلاقهم عاليه أعطوني 2 سرير اكسترا بدون مقابل واعطونا ايسكريم ايضاً وقهوه بدون مقابل
سويت يوقا معاهم في الصباح وكانت من أروع بصراحه

Beautiful view with location high in the mountains overlooking Ella. Clean, friendly staff.
Pros:

Great location high in the mountains for an exceptional view over Ella. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the view. You’ll need to grab a tu tuk for a 2 minute ride into Ella. We would happily stay again and recommend for others.
