Pros:

We loved our stay, there were 5 of us, so basically we took the whole place. The view is amazing, you are surrounded by a tea plantation. And the staff was very attentive to us.
It was a bit tricky to get to the location by car, but the staff gave us very accurate instructions, and we managed to do that by car.
easy to get to all attractions in Ella and not in a loud or crowded area at the same time.

Cons:

the pillows were a bit uncomfortable, too high. but the beds and room temperature at night were good.

Comfortable box home with stunning views from the mountain!
Pros:

Simple, compact shipping containers have never looked so good! Amazing views across both sides of the mountain - incredible to wake up to! The “boxes” have everything you need: comfortable bed, nice bathroom with hot water, fan to keep cool, clothes rack and table, wifi (not the strongest from the top box which I was in but… you’re on top of a mountain!) and power point for changing. I’d say it’s definitely worth it for uniqueness and the experience alone!

Cons:

Only drawback is it’s 15min drive from Ella Town, and with no ‘Pick Me’ in Ella you need to negotiate price with local TukTuk drivers if you don’t have your own transport.

Abends etwas schwierig aufgrund der Lage ein Tuktuk zu bekommen für den Heimweg. Am besten über die Unterkunft organisieren

I would stay here again
Pros:

The view you have from your container is amazing - I could lie in bed and see the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The staff here are very friendly and accomodating. A scooter was organised for me as the location is a short drive out of the town centre. They also organised a TukTuk for me and a taxi to Colombo for my flight out of Sri Lanka. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The hot water shower was a big bonus. I was sad to leave and would book here again if I came back to Ella

Pros:

The breakfast was amazing, really top-notch! The view was beautiful, and the sound of birds made it so peaceful. We came here for our honeymoon, wanting something different from the usual hotels and buildings, and this place was such a special experience. We had a great time and would definitely come back if we visit Ella again.

Kleines, aussergewöhnliches Hotel mitten in der Natur
Pros:

Aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft mitten in der Natur, grossartige Aussicht. Der Besitzer und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und extrem serviceorientiert. Das leckere Frühstück auf der Terasse mit Blick in die Ferne war ein Highlight. Für Reisende, die das besondere Erlebnis suchen und die Ruhe inmitten der Natur schätzen können wir das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Cons:

Das Hotel eignet sich gut aus Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des Little Adam's Peak's oder Nine Arch Bridge. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass die Fahrt ins Zentrum von Ella mit dem Tuktuk ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten dauert.

Bardzo polecam!
Pros:

Piękna lokalizacja z widokiem na pole herbaty. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Smaczne śniadanie.

Cons:

Ciężko dostać się do noclegu, dojście pieszo pod górę. Brak klimatyzacji.

Worth the visit! Location is not central!
Pros:

The location is beautiful, the host is great and the views are fabulous! The best place to stay in Sri Lanka. Hot water is available and a speaker is included which is fantastic!

Exceptional views!
Pros:

Exceptional views! Very accommodating staff and owner. Generous breakfast (chargeable).

Cons:

Was a struggle to go up and down the property as it was a very steep slope going up. No AC too and just one power socket (however they were kind enough to provide an extension cord when we requested). Rooms really need some touch up - Weren’t really in good shape. Have to do some pest control as there were a lot of insects coming into the room as well.
