Felt vulnerable
Pros:

Nice comfortable room, lovely welcoming staff.

Cons:

All the outside doors left open, actually proped open by other guests, so made place feel less secure.
And my room door handle was broken.

Pros:

Great location, staff ok, parking excellent, room and facilities good.

Cons:

There needs to be a clear sign on arrival that keys are collected and check-in is in the pub, a separate building to the accommodation block.

Other than the above we did find our hotel room clean and comfortable.
Pros:

It was in a nice area and setting.

Cons:

It could do with a fresh coat of paint on the restaurant building and the hotel to make it look more appealing.
Also the fire door at the side of the hotel entrance was wedged open throughout the 2 nights of our stay which did make us feel very uneasy how it made it so easy for anyway to enter the hotel on both levels.

Nice hotel, shame about the sinks...
Pros:

Nice room, looks freshly decorated and clean. Also not far from the outer door was good, my mum struggles with walking.

Cons:

Sink in bathroom is too small and has no plug! So, you can't fit the kettle under the tap, which means using a cup or glass to fill it. Also, my mum prefers to wash using sink full of water, which she couldn't do here. Not ideal really.

The location is good because it is near shops and restaurants and places to visit Staff friendly

Cons:

Bed is not comfortable
Cleanliness 5/10 the entrance hall in the hotel is filthy (check the sofa), carpets looks knackered and dirty
Food in the restaurant is cold and very poor quality. Sausages disgusting, fried egg come out really greasy, the food is on hot plate but it is cold.
Wifi is on and off.
