Clean and comfortable
Difficult to get out of car park when road very busy
Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Perfect location for our visit to the area.room was clean and ample room for the two of us. Bathroom and shower also clean and tidy..enjoyed our stay.

Aircon would have been nice but the room was cool enough and a fan was supplied in the room

Booked the room last minute due to a family emergency. We have stayed at this Innkeepers Lodge previously so we knew what to expect. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice modern clean shower area. It was fairly hot weather but there was a fan in the room which helped to cool it down. We had a ground floor room facing the car park. and thankfully this time there were no early risers moving their vehicles and making a noise.
The rooms and location are good for one or two overnight stays. There is a Toby Carvery next door but we didn't eat there although we did finish our night with a drink in the bar area. The bar closes at 9.30pm
Bear in mind the exit from the car park is turn left only via the petrol station forecourt and can be very tricky due to the poor visibility joining the busy main road. Also don't attempt to walk across to the nearby retail park as there is no safe pedestrian crossing
The shower flooded everywhere in the room couldn’t even have a good shower had to have a quick one and bathroom was wet through

Not much choice at breakfast, but it is very cheap. OK if you want bacon, eggs etc. although it was all a bit over cooked, or had been kept warm for a while. I would have liked yoghurt, fruit etc.

It's tricky getting out of the car park through garage onto a busy dual carriageway.

No air conditioning
Breakfast was good, would have liked juice or fruit to be included. But what we had was good.
Access to the main road needs improving as well as access for pedestrians. The main road is busy and fast.
