Sehr erholsam und ruhig
Pros:

Ganz besonders ist die Lage in 1500 m; im Hochsommer sehr angenehm.
Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, dazu ein sehr aufmerksames und herzliches Personal.
Yoga bei Sophia hat sehr zur Entspannung beigetragen.

Excellent stay from start to finish
Pros:

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome — friendly smiles, thoughtful service, and a level of attention that made the whole experience feel special. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting. It’s rare to find a place where everything just feels right, but this hotel truly delivered. I’ll definitely be returning.

excellent quality of services and accomodation; large choice of food and ingredients for breakfast and dinner; excellent selection of wines; and of course a unique location with a wonderfull view on the valley and surrounding mountains; good location to start your hiking with a range of different routes

Fine Hotel with Some Rare Qualities but Also Some Flaws
Pros:

Though I have a number of adverse observations, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a premier stay in this area:

Stunning views of the Dolomites in the distance (but only from half of the rooms).

Large swimming pool divided into a warm area and a cool area.

Upper-class international clientele, all slightly under-dressed and speaking in soft voices, never an unpleasant emotion shown.

Pleasant staff, eager to go out of their way to accommodate guest requests. Multilingual, as expected in a quality hotel in Europe.

Cons:

Evidence of a lack of managerial cohesion, oversight:

Food was well-presented but mostly tasteless. A risotto had truffle shavings but no truffle flavor. A lamb took 45+ minutes to serve, and was tasteless. Hollandaise sauce for Eggs Benedict was a paste with the consistency of cream cheese, not a liquid sauce.

Arrival instructions were wrong (wrong parking address, supplementary information was detailed but I had to find the parking by asking a shopkeeper in the area). When I got to the parking barrier, license-plate recognition didn’t work (apparent failure to enter my plate, despite having pointedly asked for it beforehand).

Hotel should make clear which rooms have views of the Dolomites, and which don’t. Mine didn’t, though it was not the standard room.

The two bathrobes in my room were both Petite (no size labels on any, but I’m a small man, and they didn’t fit). When I asked at Reception, they gave me another robe, claimed to be Large, but which turned out to be exactly the same size.

Pros:

So relaxing and tastefully and timelessly designed hotel. Suberb breakfast. No doubt 10 of 10 experience. Morning streching with Werner was blissful for the day.
