Very good for family vacation
Pros:

dinner and breakfast were both very good, many facilites around the resort, can bring kids (and grand kids) to enjoy a family stay

Cons:

on site onsen closing time too early (at 11:00pm), same problem in the morning (closing at 10:00am)

貧乏人にはちっと辛い…贅沢するつもりで行きましょう
Pros:

設備、綺麗でした。ロケーションよく家族で楽しむなら良いところだと思います。子どもには一生に残る思い出ができるんじゃないでしょうか？また、温泉施設は素晴らしかったです。

Cons:

電子レンジがない！
園内での飲食物の販売などで部屋に持ち込みたいものを売る売店などがない。
基本は値段の高いレストランしかないので、食品を持ち込むならクーラーボックスに色んなものを入れて入ることを勧めます。また、飲食店も営業時間はとても遅い時間までやってはいないので…注意する点かと思います。

プール等のレジャー施設に近くゆっくりと楽しめた。

Cons:

スタッフの数が少なすぎて、チェックインの際などに長蛇の列ができた。また不馴れなスタッフが多く苦労した。

近辺のゴルフ場に行くならココです！
Pros:

近くのゴルフ場へ行くための宿泊だったので、氷嚢に入れる氷がたっぷり欲しかったのですが製氷器があって助かりました。
洗濯機と乾燥機もあって1日目のウェアの洗濯ができたのも良かったです！
温泉の無料券ももらえました。駐車場も無料！

Pros:

I liked the Onsen. It offered many different ways to enjoy the onsen. The outdoor space was fantastic.

Cons:

We were not into the theme park stuff. I rather see this place focused on the onsen, separate from the theme park.

Destination hotel on the mountains
Pros:

Destination hotel directed mostly to the local crowd from the Kansai area. Lots of activities available in a nice mountain setting. OK buffet breakfast. Japanese breakfast also available, but limited seating. Need to be booked in advance. One of the main attractions is the onsen which is located in a separate area couple of hundred meters from the hotel. Ticket to the onsen for a single entry for both occupants is provided with the booking.

Cons:

While the price per night is good if you are making use of the facilities, it is bit on the steep side for the level of the hotel, if you are just using it for overnighting on a road trip. The buffet breakfast purchased separately is also not the greatest velue.
