Pros:

Le restaurant. L'amabilité des serveurs.
Personnel très compétant.

Cons:

Une de nos chambres donnait sur la "campagne " (terrain vague rempli de crasses) et la nuit on entendait des meutes de chien et de la musique sonore. Le double vitrage serait le bienvenu.

* Spacious rooms, well-kempt premises
* Outstanding restaurant with very fine Bengali cuisine
* Ultra-friendly waiters, some of which had valuable sightseeing tips
* Complimentary 5 o'clock tea in the garden
* A tribal dancing troupe came to perform on the night of Kali Puja. That was lovely.

Cons:

Just a suggestion: It might help to keep insects out if the lights in the hallways were dimmed down a bit during the night.

Poets idea of "Chutti" (holiday)
Pros:

excellent behaviour of staff. the resort has a bouquet of meals to offer. Veg Shoktu and Prawn Curry were clear winners.

Cons:

Staff did not help in getting us around Shantiniketan and Bolpur.

Good hotel, didn't feel age friendly. However, they are trying.
Pros:

Good sized room and bathroom. It need a bit of TLC ( tender, loving care ).

Cons:

No lift to go to upstairs banquet hall for breakfast.
No drinks available. They don't have license to serve alcoholic drinks.

I thoroughly enjoyed the one night stay at The Creek. I wish we had more time to enjoy the property.
Pros:

I like that there were different options Continental / Indian - South & North and the sizes were just sufficient, avoiding food wastage.
