I did not eat breakfast. The staff is amiable, I believe it is a couple that cares for the place. It feels homely. My son loved the place. A big supermarket is right next door where we did our shopping for the room. A nice park is around the corner and a shopping center.
The location is not safe at night.
The entry doors are locked at 10 PM, so when I get back to the building I need to ring the bell to be let in. That wasn't very pleasant because I could get robbed or assaulted while waiting outside to be let in.
The hostal is close to the center of Puyo. The owner helped us a lot with organizing our travels, they are very friendly and always with a smile on their faces. :) Thank you again!
costumers are nice
The owners and staff were very helpful. The breakfasts were good. the bed was very comfortable and our room was separated from street noise.
The TV was small and basically useless, also only a fan to keep cool when it gets hot and humid.
The breakfast was exceptional: traditional and delicious. The room was tasteful. The family who runs the hostel is very friendly. The location in the busy city center is perfect.
Bathroom a bit smelly.
