The behaviour of the staffs was good
A lot! The image of tea garden is in fact a small plantation at one side while in the other side there is virtually nothing scenic at all- the image is misleading.
Dining facilities super slow and inefficient.
Cooling in one of the Bamboo rooms is slow.
STEEP stairs makes it difficult for babies and older.
The river is NOT at all at walking distance-the manager lied to us.
The manager forced us to pay in advance when we booked using online platform (the platform said that advance is not required).
No person in the reception most of the time. No person received phone in emergency. Had to call the manager.
The location, staff behaviour, food quality was outstanding.
Staff is very flexible. Always tried to keep any request made. Manager Mr. Sanjib is an asset to the property. I would like to appreciate his attitude towards helping tourists in every way. Huge thanks to him for suggesting places to visit. Special thanks to the cook for making separate light dishes for me. The balcony with sofa was very soothing in the early morning. Also both the living room and bedrooms are quite spacious which I liked very much. Loved the small goodie bag on arrival. Overall my stay was pleasant and am a happy tourist :)
Couple of suggestions to the property owner:
a. Please have cold beverages like cold coffee, lassi, fresh lime soda in the menu especially during summer.
b. Please think of having AC in the living room attached to the bedroom. In summers living room cannot be used practically because of the heat. I was stuck in the bedroom until it rained and weather became cooler.
c. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working properly. Mr. Sanjib tried a lot to get it rectified but could not find anyone.
d. No-one could bring the channels in the TV. During the evening TV could not be viewed. Thankfully I had taken a book which I could read and spend the evening.
e. Lastly, please organize pest control in your property every month since you are in the tea garden area.
Location is ok type. It is inside tea garden but standalone building. Looks of the hotel is not good. Room was good. My visit was business trip. Hotel dod not have bill. After waiting of 1 hr 15 minutes they provide a bill with wrong gst number.
Room concept
We recently stayed at Tusker Tea County for three nights. It was a great experience staying in this amazing property. The hotel is located just adjacent to Dhupjhora Elephant Camp and lush grean tea gardens with Gorumara National Park entrance gate at 7-8 minutes driving distance only. The rooms are beautifully furnished with breathtaking views of tea garden from rooms and balcony. The staffs are extremely polite and helpful. They helped us in booking Jeep safari in Gorumara National Park and also arranged a beautiful cake for my birthday. The food and desserts were delicious.
As, the hotel is very near to the forest area, there are several instances when wild tuskers and even leopards roam beside the hotel at night. The hotel guys showed us several CCTV footage of the same. So, it is recommended not to step out of hotel gate alone after 9 PM.
I highly recommend this hotel for a great holiday in Dooars in the lap of nature.

The location and the behaviour of the staff was outstanding. They were courteous, prompt and extremely respectful. As a female traveler it is very important to feel safe and this place gave us that feeling of safety. The food was excellent too and had a lot of options as well.

Superb location, right in the middle of a tea estate. The king suit rooms are fabulous. The staff were efficient but service was a tad bit slow.
