Great stay & Authentic village
Pros:

The hotel is located in the heart of Pingshan Village. It is a great base for exploring on foot. The village feels authentic and is much less crowded than nearby villages such as Hongcun and Xidi. The staff were attentive, the food especially the breakfast was excellent. The house itself is beautifully decorated with a mix of Western and Chinese styles. The room was comfortable. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately the place does not have terrace or garden for having or breakfast outside. A table or two at the hotel entrance would be perfect.

Exceptional
Pros:

The staff as well as the hotel owners got out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! They also helped arranging sightseeing in neighbouring villages as well as made excellent recommendations on where to go next. We enjoyed the stay so much that we decided to stay another night!
