The first thing you notice is that it feels like heaven — everything is accurate and precise. The second is that not a single worker fails to smile and make you feel welcome.

Cons:

Honestly, there’s nothing I would change — everything was exactly as it should be. The only thing I might suggest, just as an extra touch, would be adding a hot tub or jacuzzi to complete the experience.

Awesome stay, disappointing food
Pros:

The suites are awesome, whole two storey small houses with a small balcony, small terrace, and a large bed at the upper level

Cons:

This is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Leh, but we were disappointed. Preparing for dinner some food compatible with the allergies of my wife seemed an herculean effort (even discussing this matter hours in advance), and they mixed our plates. The breakfast was not satisfying neither, being à la carte and in rather small portions.

Relaxing choice in Leh
Pros:

The gardens were very attractive and well maintained. The architecture was very nice. Nice bar.

Cons:

The breakfast only had vegan options, which were often very dry. A/C did not work properly because it was behind a cover, which made it look nice but severely reduced functionality.

Staying anywhere else in Ladakh would be a mistake!
Pros:

The Dolkhar Resort surpassed my expectations in every way. From a team that was beyond attentive to the understated but intentional and serene grounds and facilities, to the best food in town, selecting the Dolkhar for my stay in Leh made for an exceptional experience. Thank you to such a stand out team at an amazing destination.

Pros:

Very spacious and clean room. Excellent service! Superb Ladakhi cuisine at Tsas restaurant. Front office arranged for permit to visit Pangong in an efficient & timely fashion

Since we visited in July, weather was hot and air-conditioning was weak
