Gorgeous property amongst nature with awesome views
Pros:

Beautiful property with lots of nature. Flowers, birds and great views of mountains.

With limited rooms, the staff are very attentive to guests and Manas at the front desk was awesome.

The food in the restaurant is creative, tasty and vegetarian. Loved that!

Cons:

One minor point is the 9am checkout time. Plan accordingly.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Leh

Our stay at Dolkhar Resort was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Since we only had two days in Leh, I contacted the hotel in advance to help us make the most of our time, and the team went above and beyond. They assisted with every little detail and crafted an incredible itinerary for us, which made the entire trip feel seamless and stress-free.

The villa itself was outstanding — beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and filled with thoughtful amenities. One thing I especially appreciated was how seriously the hotel takes acclimatization and guest wellbeing. They measured our oxygen levels upon arrival and even provided an oxygen machine in each villa. I honestly did not expect to experience severe altitude sickness, but these details made a huge difference and genuinely helped us during our stay.

The restaurant and bar were also fantastic, with excellent food, drinks, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this is the perfect place for anyone staying in Leh, especially if you need time to acclimatize before continuing to explore the region. The level of care, comfort, and hospitality here was truly outstanding.

A perfect, relaxing location with exceptional service
Pros:

Everything was exceptional and exceeded our expectations during our 5 night stay. Communication before and during was efficient and informative, and very helpful. Our house was very comfortable, warm and well designed. The food is so delicious and varied, we ate there every night. It is all vegetarian (we are not vegetarian) but there is so much choice we really didn't notice it. Their cocktails are delicious too!

Honestly, there’s nothing I would change — everything was exactly as it should be. The only thing I might suggest, just as an extra touch, would be adding a hot tub or jacuzzi to complete the experience.
