The different locations to relax, the scenery, the pool and sauna facilities, and the food. My massage was also fantastic.
Some parts of my room weren’t clean when I checked in e.g., lots of salt on the lockers by the bed.
Beautiful location, grounds are absolutely stunning. Feel the calmness from the moment you step through the door. Even spotted some deer as we drove into the car park.
Quiet and peaceful.
Lots of seating areas to chill out, both indoor and outdoor.
Quite disappointed with the facilities. The infrared sauna was out of order and only one cold plunge was in use. There wasn’t a lot of seating within the actual pool area - only 2 loungers beside the pool.
The steam room had a very unpleasant smell.
I feel the staff could’ve been a lot more warm and welcoming, especially on the front desk. It is quite difficult to navigate the area when you first arrive as it’s a circle with lots of nooks and crannies, wasn’t very well explained to us on arrival - we were just handed a map.
Lots of the doors to certain areas were locked - there’s a sign to say feel free to use the yoga studio but the door into it is locked!
Unfortunately I did have that feeling that I was bothering staff every time I asked a question.
Breakfast was very nice although portions quite small and they weren’t serving speciality coffees.
Room was basic, small window and not a lot of light.
Location is amazing, surrounded by nature and close to Wicklow main attractions
When we arrived, we were welcome by a cold lady, almost bothered by our arrival.
We were showed to our room which was placed at the very very end of the structure, not very comfortable to walk to with all our luggages.
As soon as we entered our room, we noticed the mediocrity of the premises: old furniture, smelly carpets, signs of usage everywhere.
Our window view was nothing remotely close to a "garden view", we could only see concrete and a plastic structure of some kind. That was the worst surprise given the amazing location, we would have expected to see at least some trees out of the window.
Our bathroom fan was incredibly noisy and wouldn't stop at least for 10 minutes after switching off the lights.
Just to note that the structure did not seem full at all, and we could have been given a better room.
Last but not least the "spa" is in terrible conditions, low quality, steam room unusable and smelly.
Helen was super friendly. She was looking out for others and always helped them before you even asked for help. That was made an Allrounder for a good experience! I’ll book it again! Cheers!
Convient for our purposes (i.e. one night stay fora local wedding), nice pool and beds comfortable. OK value as breakfast included and we managed to use pool on arrival and before departure. Quiet!
few details let it down - for example - shower heads limescaled, soap dispensers flimsy, TV too small given distance from bed and height on wall, Restraunt lacked any atmosphere / decor only passable. It was quiet when we were there so pool / sauna's comfortable - any crowd and would be very uncomfortable. We had to change room due to coughing neighbour - no issue changing us - but receptionist made ZERO eye contact during whole transaction. Menu not in keeping with a Spa / health farm i.e. local fresh produce. Didn't even have natural yogurt out as automatic option for breakfast - was made available when asked.
Facilities are very good and area is 👌
Only thing was room small but taking in facilities and amenities you would accept that
The location and the relaxing atmosphere. The Beds and food.
The spa treatments were a bit expensive
I loved the peaceful meditative feel to the property
Nothing
Pool and sauna
Nothing
Location and being so submersed in nature.
Pretty basic considering the price & star rating. Simple things like very limited and basic toiletries (only soap and shower caps). There was a coffee machine in the room but no pods. No extras like chocolate or biscuits. The curtain in the room came straight off the rail and was only being held together with tape. The grout in the Swimming Pool was very grubby. And facilities around the grounds such as some of the little huts & garden areas were unkept - lots of dirt, debris, and cobwebs. I was expecting the place to be more pristine. Also, the receptionist would not assist us in getting a taxi.
