Good hotel
Pros:

Comfortable and clean, friendly staff, very helpful

Cons:

Lift is dodgy, got stuck in it for a few minutes. Obviously security know about it and rescued us asap. If it happens just press the bell and they get you out

Very disappointing stay... NOT A 5 STAR PROPERTY, AS CLAIMED
Cons:

I booked Hotel New City Light with managed expectations, knowing from the price that it wouldn’t truly be a 5-star experience. I anticipated a decent 3-star stay at best, but unfortunately, it fell far short of even that.

Why state you're a 5 star hotel when you're not even trying to achieve something sbem close to that?

The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful throughout our stay. The windows and mirrors were filthy, and the towels were threadbare, clearly overdue for replacement. Despite booking for 2 adults and 2 kids, we were initially provided with only one towel, and even after requesting extras, they only provided just two more.

We booked three rooms, and each had a pervasive smell of urine coming from the bathrooms, making the stay even more unpleasant.
We cut out stay short & checked out early.

With some care and attention to cleanliness and service, this hotel has potential, but it seems that these improvements are not a priority for the operators. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.
