The hotel was lovely, rooms.were clean. Short taxi or bus to centre of Bath from the hotel.
The walk from the street up to the hotel, it is very steep!

Location and parking
On arrival, hotel seemed okay. Was taken to our room. When entering our room, it was a bit dated - this we could accept. However utterly disappointed with the bathroom. We paid extra for a bath - pictures illustrated it would be a freestanding bath seperate from a shower. However the bath was one with a shower in it - would consider this a downgrade from just a shower. Very disappointed as was looking forward to having a soak in a bath and this was not what was advertised. Furthermore when having a shower, the temperature was intermitted with cold water and then hot and then cold... it was not pleasant and a concern for legionella . Further more the bathroom wasnt the cleanest, when lifted the tap you could see a whole collection of gunk missed by the cleaners.

Never told breakfast would be more expensive if not booked the night before (I thought I had booked it as part of my original plan so an oversight on me), was told I could decide in the morning however not told it would be more if I did decide in the morning. They did honour this though.
Great hotel all staff very helpful especially Gems on reception she was so lovely and very helpful , room was amazing and food was excellent, only down fake fir me was it was to far to walk into the town

Lorsque j'ai expliqué à la réception pourquoi j'étais très déçue, l'hôtesse a pris en considération ma demande et s'est donné beaucoup de mal pour trouver une solution.
Notre chambre était initialement dans une aile moderne alors que j'avais réservé pensant être dans la bâtisse historique. La chambre était belle mais mal placée, rez de chaussée, sans dégagement...

Beautiful room & breakfast was perfect - the food was to a high standard and no cutting corners.
The service in the afternoon was extremely poor. I think the waiters might have been new but you know when something goes wrong and they keep getting it wrong - eventually we received our drinks and food albeit a tad mixed!.
la posizione è ottima, appena fuori Bath con parcheggio gratuito e comodo nel parco della struttura. La colazione è ricca, la stanza piccola ma dotata del necessario.
Rispetto alle immagini su Booking, la struttura in cui dormivamo era tutt'altra cosa! Ciò che si vede sul sito è una splendida residenza, che è in effetti presente, solo che la nostra camera era nella moderna struttura adiacente, di nessun fascino e con una camera veramente tristanzuola. Assolutamente non quello che mi aspettavo in fase di prenotazione. Delusissima.

I liked that we were out of Bath and only short Taxi ride in and out, the Hotel and gardens are both lovely and we did not see that many guests only at breakfast really. (The breakfast was lovely lots of choice)
A small walk away too the left at the bottom of the drive will take you to the toll bridge go across the river there was a nice pub the further up the same road is another by the canal, which would be a nice walk into Bath unfortunately we were there during the heat wave so we did not try.
Took a while to get served at the bar sometimes, having to wait for staff only in the day/afternoon up to 20 minutes fine in the evening staff there all the time.
We stayed during the August heatwave and I could not find a vending machine on site to buy a drinks or snacks in the day or night time.
Todo perfecto. Las instalaciones, habitación amplia muy bien equipada. El personal muy gentil y atento. El desayuno completo. Parking con suficientemente grande para tantos pasajeros.
Très bel hôtel situé sur la hauteur de Bath. Accueil sympathique. Belle chambre avec salle de bain bien équipée. Très bon petit déjeuner. Très bon Room service pour une restauration tardive le soir. Parking gratuit sur place. Endroit très calme.
