Breakfast was very good.
Carpets in corridors could be upgraded.
A friendly welcome from the recèption
Nothing everything meet my expectation
The staff were friendly and nice
It was very old looking shabby and dirty the carpet on the stairs was absolutely filthy and ripped in places, the skirting and architrave was chipped and dirty all down the stairs it definitely not worth €200 a night. I would not stay there again
The staff were lovely, pleasant, helpful, breakfast was good and freshly cooked. However a healthy option of freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, fruit etc would be better. The location was very central.
The hotel room was old fashioned and the bathroom while functional was not of a good standard. The hotel could do with an upgrade, carpets were stained and shabby.
It’s great big building
Although going through renovations
Nothing that I would complain about
All good, staff were great, location is excellent right in the middle of town, varied menu, food is very good.
Nothing
Location in town
Road noise cars and Lorrie’s passing our window all night, no sleep hardly. Hotel undergoing refurbishment no dining room or bar after an 11 hour drive looking forward to a peaceful night sadly not to be had
Very helpful staff. We had avery nice lunch on arrival at the new Coachhouse bar.
Ciara and Oran great, sorted bikes and bags for us… BUT see below ……
Not pre warned, that breakfast was 10 minute walk or drive away in a different hotel, no food Facilites available, rooms paid for in advanced, (no wonder !)called by hotel to confirm on previous Tuesday, never told about renovations or breakfast situation or that restaurant was closed, !!
Hotel like a building site. See pics
Told could park car outside for 30 minutes on phone , told locally would get clamped.
Really messed up this day for our charity M2M cycle challenge as could not depart from our hotel on time easily due to breakfast faff and moving to different hotel for breakfast. No credit or refund offered, Or even move us to sister county hotel, where actually we had our evening meal so we could suss out for next day breakfast faff
It possessed such a helpful friendly snd warm staff
There is no elevator. However, I believe one is being installed as I write this review.
Well located, super helpful staff and food was good.
It is a little dated and would like to see some aspects be modernized , but this is my third visit this time around we can see there is work ongoing so it going in the right direction.
