Best hotel we have stayed at in Alvor and been coming here 20 years. Amazing location , laid back vibe and no rushing to reserve a sun bed in the morning. Breakfast excellent and staff exceptional. The design of the hotel makes it so easy to find everything and relax. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel with great staff, really enjoyed the stay

Just come back after 11 days with my family at this excellent hotel. The room overlooking the pool provided a spectacular view of the three swimming pools. This hotel was was well maintained by all staff Joao on reception who was exceptionally efficient and friendly to dining room staff and waiters and the cleaning staff have to get a mention as they work exceptionally hard.staff . All in all this has been a fantastic holiday. Thank you Pestana Hotel for the memories staying with you.

My stay at pestana Alvor south beach hotel has been to amazing to describe on just these couple of sentences . I have really enjoyed waking up every morning here for 11 days and thinking today is going to be another amazing day here . Pestana has fulfilled my expectations of everything and it really does create a safe space to stay in Alvor . Everything is amazing here from the hotel itself to the staff as well . All staff members are amazing and really welcoming especially one member called Maria who works really hard and every morning welcomes you either a huge welcoming and positive smile on her face . Me and my family came here 7 years ago and I have enjoyed it this year as much as I did 7 years ago. I definitely rate this place over 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back here very soon .

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel has 3 pools so plenty to choose from and they also are never overcrowded always plenty of food and choice at breakfast and lots of sun loungers and various other outside furniture, rooms thoroughly cleaned everyday by a team of amazing cleaners who w constantly, the location is perfect only a minute walk on the boardwalk to the beach and only about a ten minute walk into the town of alvor, see vice was fantastic always interactive with all ages and happy to help with any requests you have, really enjoyed my 11 day stay here never got tired of the hotel amazing hotel.

Absolutely 10 / 10 stay for 11 nights. A relaxed hotel in a superb beachside location.
The staff are friendly and helpful with any requests. Shout out to Maria, for her welcome each day on breakfast, for looking after us so well and telling us about the Portimão festival 🫶

Fantastic experience. Staff were amazing, so attentive. I had an exoerience where I mislaid a small purse that had my watch in it. Tito, the duty manager, was fantatsic. He was so helpful, calling all the staff to inform them about the missing item. He kept me updated on what he was doing and assured me that he would do whatever it takes to find it. Embarrassingly, after 1.5hours of Tito's time...i found it behind the curtain in my room! But his service was exceptional! Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was gorgeous, pool area was very chilled and kept clean. Couldnt fault the Pestana South Beach. Will be back!

Vim passar alguns dias de férias com a minha mãe no Pestana Alvor South Beach, um daqueles momentos que só acontecem uma vez por ano e que, por isso mesmo, ficam gravados na memória. E, no final da estadia, percebi que o que mais valorizo numa experiência de hotelaria não é que tudo seja perfeito. É sentir que existe cuidado.

O que mais me marcou foi perceber que esse cuidado não depende de uma ou duas pessoas. É transversal a toda a equipa. Desde os responsáveis do hotel até às colaboradoras da limpeza, passando pela receção, pelo restaurante e pelo bar, sente-se uma atenção constante, uma presença discreta, uma disponibilidade genuína e uma vontade sincera de que cada hóspede tenha uma boa experiência. É raro encontrar esta consistência. Não parece um conjunto de profissionais a cumprir procedimentos; parece uma equipa que partilha verdadeiramente o mesmo propósito: receber bem e fazer com que tudo corra da melhor forma possível.

Nem tudo correu sem falhas. Ao almoço, houve um incidente relacionado com uma alergia alimentar: por duas vezes foi servido um prato com pimentos, apesar de eu ter informado que era alérgica, e acabei por desistir de comer. Foi, sem dúvida, o momento menos positivo da estadia. Mas foi também aí que percebi ainda melhor a qualidade desta equipa. A forma como pediram desculpa, a preocupação demonstrada e a educação com que procuraram resolver a situação fizeram toda a diferença. Errar pode acontecer. A forma como se responde ao erro diz muito sobre um hotel e, aqui, senti que a prioridade era genuinamente cuidar de quem estava do outro lado.

Quero também deixar uma palavra muito especial à equipa de limpeza. Sou particularmente exigente neste aspeto e, muitas vezes, noto que os quartos começam impecáveis no primeiro dia, mas a atenção ao detalhe vai diminuindo ao longo da estadia. Aqui aconteceu precisamente o contrário.
