very clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant food was excellent.
Would have preferred breakfast to start earlier, 07.30am meant i was unable to use the facility due to work commitment.
The food was fantastic all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was great and the grounds were lovely
The only thing that we didnt like was the matress it was very hard and uncomfortable. On investigating we found out it was upside down so we flipped it over and our second night sleep was far more comfortable.
Great place to chill and relax
Low beams on top floor for some one like me who can be clumsy are a challenge
Everything
Nothing to dislike
The pictures drew me into booking Hornbury mill.
I met the photographer, he deserves a pay rise.
There are lots of things I liked. The staff were amazing throughout my stay … one of the best assets of hornsbury mill, polite, professional, friendly staff with exceptional customer service skills. I left my meta glasses there and they were returned without incident. Thank you again guys.
The new chef seems to be whipping up a storm with his beautifully crafted food. I had a dessert the Pane-cotta and can’t wait to see what else is on the menu.. looks like a top dining experience worthy of a visit on that basis alone.
Set in idyllic surroundings, with peacocks casually walking around, a lake in view from your room. It’s the perfect comfortable countryside get away.
Very peaceful.
The decor is beautiful, I felt very grand waking up on my four poster bed surrounded in old money vibe country decadence.
I looked for reasons to not like something. I found nothing.
Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - worth travelling to this venue just for the food. Room was lovely and comfortable and good value for money and the staff - well lets just say Kirsty and Lily were superstars! From check-in to drinks to anything we needed was no trouble and they were super polite and pleasant to interact with! 5 stars +
Everything was great!
The staff were so friendly, very comfortable bed and clean room. Food was excellent as well, and the grounds are absolutely stunning.
Bathroom was a little bit dated, but who spends time in there.
Very good.
Absolutely beautiful setting with a working water wheel, pond, stream, ducks, peacock. Great breakfast - well-cooked and plentiful. Very attractive bedroom.
If you need a phone signal this is not the best place. It didn't matter much to me. Mind you Dorset is like that.
Outside area lovely garden and pond
Food not great.
Beautiful room, helpful staff, fantastic food. We had a lovely stay.
The fire alarm went off at 12.30am - just one of those things!
Lovely location, staff were very friendly, room was large & comfortable, very clean, food was excellent, I will certainly stay again. Would highly recommend.
Grounds, fantastic! Building, old but adorable, kinda like me!😅
Staff were excellent.
The water wheel!!! Turned on for effect but the noise is insane and actually made things inside my room vibrate and not in a good way!! That includes the floor n the ceiling....
Good news is they can turn it off
Great setting for a hotel lovely clean spacious room, spacious bathroom food very good, staff very pleasant and helpful
The weather
Lovely staff and grounds..
Shower was too small
Nice hotel, reasonable value. Room nicely appointed and very clean. Breakfast good but didn't really cater well for vegans (no plant spread/milk available/offered), so check this in advance if required. Staff all nice and friendly and helpful.
