Difficult access
Very friendly
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and warm.
Can be a bit noisy in the rooms due to it being in the service station. The lorry park is at the side. Don't let it put you off
Lovely staff
Noisy but expected
Everything was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Pillows were like rocks. It was only halfway through the night that I tried the two spares and they were marginally better.
As I was travelling northbound and the hotel is on the southbound lot, it was a bit of a trial finding my way to it. Despite instructions, in the dark I saw no signage at all and it was not clear enough that you had to ignore no entry signs. I ended up travelling another 15 minutes following my satnav to get me on to the southbound carriageway. This needs looking at and making clearer.
nothing
Exactly what we were looking for and what to expect for the price we paid - clean room and bathroom, comfy beds, fresh towels, tea and coffee. Considering the location (right off the M6) it was very quiet and we all had a great night's sleep. A special mention to Sarah on reception who was superb. She was incredibly friendly and helpful - as travelling with elderly parents she gave us a ground floor room close to reception so they didn't have to walk far or go up any stairs.
For me, nothing, my Dad would have liked a restaurant on site for breakfast but McDonalds and Costa were next door so it wasn't a problem.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming
Shower didn't work.
