Peaceful location, lovely helpful staff
Pros:

Clean quiet room, good restaurant, booked Corcovado tour here with Jonathan who patiently waited for us on the beach. Nice walk from Drakes bay along the beach to Playa Josecito. Lovely garden to sit in and beach right opposite although a bit rough for swimming.

Cons:

Property is a long way out of Drake bay about an hour’s walk, not recommended at night! The lighting in the room could be improved.

Pros:

L'emplacement face à la plage Gitana avec un magnifique coucher de soleil. L'acceuil du personnel et en particulier très arrangeant sur les horaires du petit-dej alors que nous n'avions pas pris les excursions chez eux. Le restaurant au top pour le soir et ne pas repartir au bourg. Très propre.

Cons:

Rien. Pas d'eau chaude mais on s'y attend dans ce genre de bout du monde.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Wie würden jederzeit wieder ins Gitana!
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Der wundervolle Strand ist in nur 2 Minuten Fußweg über eine Brücke zu erreichen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor Ort können jegliche Aktivitäten und Touren gebucht und vermittelt werden. Das Gitana Restaurant ist gut und sogar unseren selbstgefangenen Fisch für uns zubereitet. Besonders gut hat uns die Nachmittag Tour am Rande des Corcovado Nationalparks gefallen, wo wir abends im Dunkeln im Dschungel eine Tapir Familie aus nächster Nähe beobachten konnten. Die gebuchte Angel Tour war ebenfalls hervorragend und hat der ganzen Familie sehr viel Spaß bereitet.

Cons:

Wenn man mit dem Auto hinfährt, sollte man auf jeden Fall ein 4x4 Fahrzeug mit genügend Bodenfreiheit verwenden.

Traumhafte Lage inmitten wunderschöner Natur, direkt neben einem paradiesischen Strand. Das herzliche Personal und die hervorragende Küche machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Besonders praktisch: Alle Touren lassen sich direkt vor Ort buchen.

Amazing stay in a cosy family managed place
Pros:

Amazing beautiful place managed by a very nice and helpful family. There is a beautiful beach 2 minutes by walk, the rooms are spacious with AC. Also, the breakfast is delicious.
Very good place for birdwatching, and a lot of tours can be organised with the owner.
We did the Corcovado full day with them and it was amazing.

Cons:

There wasn’t hot water all the time (but it was so hot outside we kind of liked it 😅). And you need a car to go to the village of Bahia Drake (8 mins by car)

Ruhiger Aufenthalt in Drake Bay
Pros:

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Die abgelegene Lage ist teilweise etwas mühsam aber hat auch Vorteile (eigener Strandabschnitt, Ruhe und Möglichkeit im Garten viele Vögel zu beachten).

Cons:

Bei Booking steht das vor Ort kostenlose Fahhräder zur Verfügung hat. Dies gab es aber nach Anfrage nicht, was wir sehr schade fanden.

Pros:

Fantastiskt familjehotell 🙏🥰 trevligt , god mat och mysiga små rum. Härlig trädgård med utemöbler och bara 5 min promenad till stranden. Vi bokade även tur till Corcovado genom hotellet och allt var perfekt. Vi blev skjutsade av ägaren Jonatan till båtarna och även upphämtade.
Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell.

Hôtel très sympa avec un très joli jardin et à côté de la plage. Il y a un restaurant et c’est plutôt pratique car il faut une voiture pour aller dîner à Drake.

Struttura in un giardinetto, camera grande con letto enorme, con un terrazzino all'esterno.. bagno con doccia calda. Buona colazione. Abbiamo fatto un tour nel bosco per vedere gli animali.

Cons:

Struttura un po vecchia. Tour con cena costoso e la cena era in un posto vecchio e si è mangiato male: non ho capito perché fanno fare la cena alla fine del tour anziché riportarti nell'albergo e mangiare quello che uno preferisce....

Drake Bayの中心地から北西へ２㎞ほど離れている分、落ち着いてのどかにのんびり過せた。
Pros:

ツアーの時間に合わせて、朝食を5時から対応してくれた。
ツアーの送迎をていねいにしてくれた。でこぼこ道を走るのもスリリングで面白かった。
目の前の道を渡るとすぐにビーチがあり、静かで眺めが良くてよかった。
部屋が清潔だった。エアコンも新しくよく効いていた。シャワーも常温だが問題なく使えた。
庭はこじんまりしているが感じが良かった。
ホテルの近くでコスタリカとパナマ西部の固有種の珍しいToucan（Fiery-billed Aracari)を観察することができた。
スタッフが皆感じが良かった。ワンちゃんもネコちゃんも可愛かった。
食事が美味しかった。
朝食も6種類から選ぶことができ、必ずフルーツの盛り合わせがつき、コーヒーも美味しかった。

Cons:

事前にSierpeからのボートの予約や乗り方についてメールで尋ねたが、返信が遅く心配になった。心配だったので2日前にインターネットでボートを予約したら、その後にホテルからボートを予約したという連絡があり混乱した。公共交通機関を使っての旅行者にとっては無事にホテルまでたどり着けるかどうかが一番心配なことなので、できるだけ早く予約済みの連絡と、ボートを乗る時の方法を教えてほしかった。
予約していた国立公園内をまわるツアーのうちの１つが、時間の短い別のツアーに変更されていた。国立公園内をもっと奥までじっくり見たかったので残念。せめて事前に知らせてほしかった。
ツアーの内容や持ち物がWebの案内に書いてあったものと一部ちがっていた。よく確認して、より詳しく正確な情報をのせてほしい。

Comfortable stay outside of Drake Bay
Pros:

The room is a good size, the bed very comfortable and the ac was super.The eating area is small but clean, and the food and prepared drinks are very good. It is a short walk to a very nice beach, and is in a quiet area outside of Drake Bay.

Nos gustó, repetiríamos!
Pros:

Personal súper atento y agradable. Adaptan el desayuno a tu horario si tienes que salir temprano. Te ayudan con los taxis y tours que necesites hacer. Nos recogieron a nuestra llegada y llevaron al pueblo en varias ocasiones en la pick up sin coste extra porque tenían que hacer el viaje igualmente.

Cons:

Quizás un poco lejos del pueblo, unos 40min caminando, aunque existe la opción de avisar un taxi que te recoja. En una de las habitaciones había problema con el agua caliente.
