Devonshire Greens - The Leisure Hotel and Spa

The location was lovely with great views. They gave us an upgrade which was great. Staff were lovely, polite and friendly.

Stunning views, excellent staff in the dining room, food good, but, garden unusable, full of builders, coffee shop never open, so no drinks between meals unless room service, you have to sell your soul for toilet paper and stir sticks, overall a bit soul less

The stay the first night was a disaster . Room bedsheets were not clean. WiFi never worked . Staff very unhelpful and rude at times . Extremely poor room service for basis s like water . No body listens . Had to call staff four times in two hours to get even a bottle of water

The hotel and staff was very nice and helpful especially the cab that we got from the hotel and Mr. Deepu who took us around in Munnar was really sweet, helpful, punctual and kind person. The services of the hotel were also really quick.Would recommend this place 10/10.

Devonshire Greens is a beautiful resort very close to Attukad Waterfall with great staff and amazing food. We loved our two day stay at the resort, which has play area, restaurant and good parking facility. The best part of the resort is its closeness to the heavenly waterfall, which you may easily trek to in half an hour. My best wishes to the resort.

It's a awesome place to stay and relax. We enjoyed the hospitality. Highly recommend. View from here is great. Rooms are big and view from the window is breath taking .The food is simply amazing. There are a bunch of facilitates in the hotel like board games.

If you like old world charm, Devonshire is for you. It's an old property with colonial style walls. There's something very different about this hotel. It's not a modern hotel which is really a breath of fresh air. Food is top notch and the staff is new and young and highly courteous. Very very humble. We booked the cab from them for our Munnar tour and it was the best decision we made. Our driver Deepu made sure we were comfortable throughout and see the best of Munnar in whatever time we had with a toddler. He was there like a family member taking us on a tour of his town! That's all a traveller can ever hope for. We are returning for sure and staying nowhere else and hiring Mr Deepu because of his warmth and hospitality. He is the ultimate representation of Kerala hospitality and culture!

Additionally wish to express, A lovely property at a fantastic location, nestled among tea gardens with stunning views of lush green plantations and experience big waterfall @ walkway distance. It's nothing short of heavenly. I highly recommend this place for an incredible vacation. The hospitality is exceptional.

Out of the way so very quiet.
Stunning views over the valley and across to the tea plantations and worker accomodation.
Room OK with balcony but no hair dryer which was odd.
Staff very friendly.
Weird room numbering. Rooms with numbers 2xx were on floor 1.
Meals were a bit disappointing especially breakfast.

It was a very pleasant stay at Devonshire. We had reached early and the desk staff was extremely kind to get a room ready for us without any hassle. The views from room , reception etc are beautiful!
The best part of our stay here was the car service that hotel provides. Compared to other drivers we talked to, hotel car was most reasonably priced. Mr Deepu took us around Munnar and I must say that he really made our trip easy and memorable. He introduced us to all the tourist places, and suggested a lot of things that helped us see Munnar more closely. He is extremely courteous, has a lot of information about munnar and places around, is kind and genuinely warm person. Using the resort cab service was the best decision for a very hassle free trip.

We stayed here for two nights in month of October 2024.
We are the group of senior citizen with 15 passengers. The location of the hotel is really very good, not very far from the city but in the calm and peaceful area. Food is excellent and they had a variety in the meals in 2 days during our stay. Hotel staff at reception, restaurant, housekeeping the entire staff is very cooperative and always smiling.
Special thanks to GM Mr. Manoj for providing last minute Almond milk for the group during the Kojagiri Full Moon night.
We had a lovely stay and we will definitely come back once again.

Nice rooms - stayed in Mountain View room.
But property needs to have some vibe , aesthetics inside.
Coffee shop was not functioning.
Staff - Anson is a great and helpful person. Took us for nature walk which was amazing. The highlight of the stay.
Veg options in food are very limited. Taste wise it was okay.
Restaurant needs to have some nice background music , it’s too silent. Takes 30 mins + for order preparation.
Spa - nice service but interior and quality of the facility could be better.
In short - if they improve on aesthetics across the hotel common area, spa, restaurant- it will be a wonderful stay in addition to the existing good location and helpful staff.

Every component is awesome . Room neatness and quality food deserves appreciation.
Minor improvements like
1. No need of 3 tooth paste kits .Instead add one shaving kit.
2. Good signage and hoardings at NH49 also attracts tourists.
Also need to develop attukadu water fall parking area in consultation with other hotels so that more tourists and vehicles will definitely explore the area.
