Poka Villa is a real piece of PARADISE!!! It is truly a hidden gem in the jungle of Ubud, close to the main highlights of the city (such as the sacred monkey forests, the kacek show, etc.) *and* it is quiet and peaceful at the same time. The staff is wonderful, so welcoming, professional, caring and helpful! A Special mention to GITA for her kindness and warmth, and to Dedek. Everybody sincerely do their very best to make our stay a unique and special experience in Bali. My room had the jungle view, with a private pool, a very large terrace, etc. The room is big, clean, with all amenities (safety box, kettle, bath robes, a bath tub -and- a shower, the A/C was perfect, etc.) The king sinze was confortable, the bedsheets and towels smell so good. :) The food at the restaurant Helio Star is the best of my life!! I had smotthies, smoothies bowl, poke bowls, etc. They can deliver to your room. Everything was 100% PERFECT and it will sincerely make memories in my mind and heart forever. I highly recommend this hotel, with all the comfort you can dream of and the quiet and intimate peace far from the big resorts... The nature around is stunning and the site is well maintained. The reception can arrange transfert, taxis, etc. for you. You really feel like at home and like a special guest. Thank you again Poka Villa, I hope to be back very soon! Lily B.

My experience was extremely disappointing. I never expected anything like this.

The cleanliness was very poor. There was a very strong and unpleasant smell coming from the shower and the drainage. I informed the staff about the issue, and they told me they had cleaned it. However, when I went back to the bathroom, the bad smell was still there.

When I tried to sleep, I couldn’t because there were many lizards in the room. I saw lizards beside me and even above me. It may seem normal to the hotel, but it is not normal for guests. We don’t come to stay in a room full of lizards. Imagine trying to sleep with lizards crawling around you. I could not accept this at all.

My reservation was from August 3 to August 6, but I couldn’t stay even one night. I checked out on the same day.

I came here for my honeymoon, and I never expected such an experience. I had to book another hotel because I could not stay there.

I would like to request a full refund.

Sintya and the team were so helpful and welcoming they could not do enough for our group of 6. The villa was clean and the location is perfect is you want a quiet stay not far from the centre of Ubud. They helped us organise an ATV trip including free transport. If I was to come back to Ubud again I would not hesitate to book Poka!

Posizione comoda , a pochi minuti dal centro raggiungibile in auto . Pace e tranquillità. Bella la camera e funzionale la piccola piscina privata . La vegetazione lussureggiante . Il personale accogliente e disponibile .

The location was nice and the staff was friendly.

Everything was amazing the privacy and peace and quiet of the villa. I Loved the flower pool and photography the villa arranged for my Birthday and it was close to Ubud Centre. We also walked to the mini mart for snacks. The massage was also really good and the floating breakfast was so cute 😍😍😍. THANK YOU TO ALL THE LOVELY STAFF ♥️ WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU.

Το μπάνιο ήταν πολύ ωραίο, όπως και η θέα από αυτό και από το δωμάτιο προς την αυλή με την πισίνα, η οποία ήταν απλά υπέροχη! Είχε πολύ ησυχία, άκουγες μόνο τα πουλάκια απ' έξω. Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ όμορφη και βολική για διάφορα αξιοθέατα κοντά στην Ubud. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Επίσης, τα pancakes του πρωινού ήταν πολύ νόστιμα, όπως και πολλά από τα πιάτα που μπορούσες να πάρεις από το συνεργαζόμενο εστιατόριο Heliostar που ήταν έξω από το ξενοδοχείο, με πολύ καλές τιμές και όμορο χώρο. Τέλος, το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ μεγάλο και άνετο.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Poka. The villa was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, with a lovely private pool that made our stay even more relaxing.

What truly made this place exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring throughout our entire stay. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and they always went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Their kindness and professionalism gave us a true luxury experience that exceeded our expectations.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in Ubud with outstanding hospitality, we highly recommend this villa. We would definitely love to come back!

Very spacious villa, with clean pool, the souroundings were beautiful, you were in the middle of nature. The staff was very friendly, always available and trying to satisfied our needs and wishes. Very good massage and at good price. They also have motorbikes to Rent and at a very good price and they are powerful and in good condition, perfect for 2 persons to use it.
For the staff and the facilities they offer, I recommend this stay to anyone who wants a real balinese experience
