Pros:

Not sure where they found the picture for the Lakeview Hotel but it is very deceiving! The hotel itself is a dump! The reception desk was a complete mess with garbage, workers tools and mess. The young guy at reception was the only good thing. Luckily we were given a room outside the main hotel and this had been renovated and was reasonably clean

Enjoyable when looking for a price value place to stay
Pros:

Since I have a motorcycle, I was given a room on main floor and parked my bike just outside my door. That was appreciated. Restaurant food was good

A convenient place to stay on a cross country trip, comfy bed, clean room, spacious and with friendly staff. Restaurant food was very good.

Cons:

Would appreciate the prices of the bar being available - we were unpleasantly shocked by a bar bill having draft beer at $12.50 a glass (and we had two each)… everywhere else we’ve travelled the average cost is $6-8 per glass. Not cool. Perhaps minor issue for others but when trying to keep to a budget, we sure would not have spent that much on draft had we known the price. Lesson learned, always inquire…

Wonderful Weekend Stay at the Lakeview Hotel in Wawa, Ontario
Pros:

We had room 103 on the Main floor, it was recently renovated, looked just like the pictures on the site. It was Clean, comfortable and Reasonably priced. Staff were very kind, helpful. Woody's Pub with Pub grub menu was Excellent, we had the Homemade Burgers with Fresh Cut Fries ( $15) , was local entertainment on Friday night ( open mic). Highly Recommend this Hotel. Thank You.

Cons:

Everything was Excellent, we will be back for sure, we are recommending this Hotel to Family and Friends. Its by far the best Value for Money and Location in Wawa, Ontario.

Pros:

Renovated room, with high ceilings and lots of space.

Cons:

The room was very stuffy. No aircon, and the ceiling fan only worked when the light was on. It was a Saturday night and there was lots of noisy action in the attached bar until very late in the night.

For the price it was great 👍
Pros:

Don't let the first impression fool you. The building is old and run down looking. I thought it was going to be a complete dive but I loved the room! It was not in the main but in the motel part.

OK place, but outdated, in need of some refreshment.
Pros:

Place had a bar/restaurant attached to it, convenient for dinner

Cons:

Small room for 2 people, property in general a little unkept, messy.
The bar/restaurant downstairs was pretty loud as expected, not a problem if staying without kids though.

Pros:

I like the room shower was awesome accept the chipping paint around the shower
But that shower saved me after a 13 hour drive pressure was phenomenal. Loved it

Cons:

I was right above the bar on a saturday night room 216
I had to leave the tv on and the ac to dull the noise down

Im sure the other rooms were great but I had the last room witch I was grateful 🙏 to have

Pros:

The owners were very nice. The room was fairly clean. Cheap price.

Cons:

Fair if you have to stay like I did. Not a hotel for vacation, just to sleep for a night (at best).
