Lovely place for a 1 or 2 night stay.
Pros:

Wonderful location right opposite the church in the middle of Dent village with parking on site. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Cons:

Room is in a pub so expect some noise from the bar in the evening. It wasn't too bad and didn't go on too late though.

We always ensure you’re staying at The Sun and wish them all the best.
Pros:

This is our fourth time staying at The Sun. We love it there, and we love the village of Dent. My partner’s last name is Dent so whenever we’re in the UK, we tried to stay there.

Cons:

We are just disappointed that dinner is no longer served. We remember coming some years ago and eating dinner by a beautiful fire.

Breakfast at 8.30 am isn't good if you are intending to be walking all day, but the hotel were very helpful and willing to provide breakfast earlier if requested.

The Dales are beautiful, Dent is a lovely town, the Inn is characterful and staffed by a great set o
Pros:

Staff were cheery and helpful. The facilities are rudimentary as expected, it is an old characterful building.
The Full Rnglish breakfast was superb, and that is an understatement.

Cons:

Nothing, other than not having a few more nights booked!
