Everytime i come i feel like i am at my home. Everything is just kore than perfect. Specially food and staff and obvio location.

Stay was comfortable, location very good.
Only the food needs to be little improved especially non veg.. Rest all good.

Our stay at Hotel Raghu Vilas with our family was amazing ! We also have stayed in the same in June 2018 also ! That was also a great experience, so we booked it again this time ! Memories of our houses where we spent our childhood arised to see the same structure of building, antique decoration and same furniture ! It's really great ! Neatness, cleanliness, beauty of nature, behavior of staff, food, everything was awesome ! The only thing where improvement has been needed is to give quick service while serving dinner & proper attention has to be given by staff while customers are taking breakfast or dinner ! Everything else is perfect ! We really love to go there again & again ❤️

Superb experience with this place specially in hills, when rest of the hotels in hills says no to service after 10pm only these guys are available at your service.. Ajay (manager) he is just awesome guy to take care of every comfort you need.. Rahul and other staff are always there to support your needs during your stay.. very amazing view and well maintained property. We had the best time at Raghu Vilas. The environment was so peaceful and refreshing — it felt like we were truly close to nature. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and everything was spotlessly clean. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease.

The food was another highlight — simple, healthy, and absolutely delicious. It tasted just like home-cooked meals, which made it even more comforting. And the desserts — especially the gulab jamuns — were out of this world! Soft, warm, and perfectly sweet, they literally melted in the mouth and left us wanting more. Honestly, every meal felt like it was made with love.

What really made the stay special was the hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our time there. The staff were warm, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. They paid attention to every little detail, which made us feel truly special. A big thank you to Deepak ji, Ajay ji, and Rahul ji for their thoughtful care and warmth.

I stayed at Raghu Vilas for 2 days. The room was clean and comfortable, Mall Road was just 2 minutes away. The staff served very well. The breakfast had less options but tasted good. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would like to stay here again.

Property is very neat so is the rooms. The hospitality is very very good. The food is awesome. The staff are very cooperative and very friendly.

An amazing stay at Raghu Vilas. There are 2 bungalows that have been converted into comfortable stays for guests.
Unlike other properties where space is a constraint, at Raghu Vilas there is ample space in each room. We had booked the deluxe room which was quite spacious. We saw the Madho Bawan right adjacent to our room and loved its setup. We requested for an upgrade and to our surprise the manager upgraded it free of charge.
The manager, Mr Deepak has been very helpful, right from helping us navigate (we had taken a shorter route as per map which turned out to be quite adventurous. Better stick to the main road as the hotel is on the main road hardly 50 meters before the taxi stand on the gun hill ropeway side), to helping us book taxi for sightseeing, ensuring dinner is served on time etc. the staff also are very helpful and keep enquiring if they can assist with anything.
Everything about this property is great (old world charm, with modern amenities, beautifully manicured lawns with amazing views of Mussoorie and Doon valley, coupled with amazing hospitality). I’ve experienced all kinds of hospitality in multiple countries and never have I been so sure that next time as well I’d love to stay at this property.
Do give it a try, I’m sure most people would love the ambience, hospitality and great views and easy access to Mall Road from the property.

We, five couples, in the age group of 65-75 years lived at Raghu Vilas blissfully for 7 nights, in the last week of May 2025.

This was possible only due to the comfort the Vola gave and the exceptional service we got from Ajay and his team mates, Kamal, Satye Singh, both the Rahuls, Sanjay, Ram and Vijay. They took exceptional care of each one of us.

The services were top class. We will surely return back to this heavenly abode, multiple times.

The view we get of Dehradun on day as well as night is mind boggling.
