The staff were lovely and very helpful

We loved this hotel, King Suite with private pool was the best room during our 3-week stay in Philippines (and we stayed in 7 hotels). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they also rescued a broad selection of animals, including a pearl-white Sky and cuddle-loving cat, who was entering our room and asking for cuddles. The location is 10/10 – with no effort, we managed to do a one-day Bohol trip on a motorbike, which included all key attractions. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach Alona beach from here, although after being there I don't know why anyone would want to do that. The object is new and it is finished in a designer style, a very boutique form, extremely rare in Philippines. Food and drinks were exceptional as well (you have unlimited supply of water, which is always a plus with Bohol temperatures). It is a perfect hotel, even though it comes with a high price tag. We have never returned to the same place - but now we have a strong pretendent to change this.

La piscine à débordement est tout simplement magnifique, avec une vue apaisante qui rend chaque moment unique. La chambre était impeccable, propre, confortable, avec une literie parfaite — s’endormir face à la mer, c’est quelque chose qu’on n’oublie pas.

Mais ce qui rend cet endroit vraiment exceptionnel, c’est le personnel. Ils sont adorables, toujours aux petits soins, très réactifs, et les échanges avec eux ont été un vrai plaisir. On se sent accueilli comme dans une famille, dans une ambiance douce et chaleureuse.

Petit plus qui fait toute la différence : l’hôtel recueille et protège des chats et des chiens. Ils sont adorables, pas du tout dangereux, et apportent une vraie touche de vie et de tendresse au lieu. Partager ce séjour avec eux a rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale.

Un endroit où tout est réuni pour se sentir bien. Honnêtement, on ne pouvait pas rêver mieux.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in terms of service. I can’t even single out any particular staff as everyone we spoke with here are extremely friendly, very welcoming, and wonderfully friendly. We stayed in the room called St Tropez, which is their newest room. It may be smaller than the others but it didn’t disappoint. Floor to ceiling windows give you an epic view over the water, which was particularly lovely of an afternoon. The pool was large enough to cool off in. Shower was one of the best I’ve had in Asia, great pressure and temperature control. A little way from shops and restaurants, but you can easily arrange a scooter, tuk tuk, driver or grab to get places. Alona Beach was only 15 minutes by scooter. Can’t recommend this place enough. We ate at their restaurant for most meals and each was fantastic. We arranged a few day trips with them also which were amazing. English is widely understood by staff and their use of WhatsApp makes getting in contact very easy. A word for those that don’t like cats or dogs; this may not be the place for you. They have many animals here that roam the grounds. They are all very friendly and love a good pat, but if you are allergic or don’t like animals, then you may not enjoy seeing them around the grounds. We loved meeting all the animals and staff, returning each day was like coming home. We will be back. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay! You’ve set the bar very high for the rest of our trip.

Fantastisch luxe en rustig verblijf waar je heerlijk bijkomt op een rustige plek in panglao. Het personeel is uitmuntend en zeker Carlo! Hij maakt van elk moment een unieke ervaring in epic suites. Ik zou iedereen aanraden hierheen te gaan.

This was hands down the best value-for-money hotel of my entire trip in the Philippines. I absolutely do not regret staying here. In fact, I liked it so much that I even changed my itinerary to come back again later during the trip.

The staff is absolutely amazing, always kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. The owners clearly have very big hearts, and I was especially touched to see how much they help the animals on the island. It is such a pleasure to see animals finally being treated with kindness and respect.

The private pool in the room is just great, and the room layout is extremely well thought out. Everything feels comfortable, practical, and nicely designed. The dishes at the restaurant were also excellent, and the team was incredibly responsive on WhatsApp, which made everything very easy and smooth.

The only small downside, and honestly the only thing I found very unfortunate, is the breakfast setup regarding drinks. They do not offer fresh fruit juice such as pineapple or mango, and on top of that, you cannot order both a fresh juice and a coffee. Considering that a coffee costs almost nothing, this feels a bit unnecessary. They could easily increase the room rate by €1 and absorb that cost. It is a small detail, but still a real shame compared with how great everything else is.

That being said, this is really a very minor issue, and objectively, out of all the luxury hotels I stayed at in the Philippines, this is the only one that truly deserves to be called a luxury hotel.

L’hôtel est sublime, les chambres sont spacieuses et luxueuses. La piscine privée de la chambre avec vue sur la mer est juste incroyable.
Le personnel est très attentionnés et a l’écoute. Il font tout ce qui est de leur possible pour subvenir à nos demandes. Le restaurants est très bon. Je recommande sincèrement.
L’emplacement est top, calme et à proximité des commodités.
Un grand merci à Joy pour son accompagnement tout au long de notre séjour et un petit clins d’œil à Ford à la restauration qui est très gentil et serviable.

After traveling to so many countries, I have never been so compelled to leave a review for a hotel. Situated right on the Bohol Sea, overlooking a beautiful rocky shore and seagrass beds, it offers a peaceful escape away from the hustle and bustle. The views from both the room and the restaurant above are absolutely breathtaking. The service is beyond perfect, and the food served at the restaurant is simply amazing.

If you plan to stay here, I highly recommend booking a room with a private pool so you can enjoy the spectacular sunrise and have breakfast in the pool. The only minor downside is that transportation isn't the most convenient, as Grab isn't always available. However, the front desk is more than happy to call a tricycle for you. I strongly suggest staying here for at least two nights without booking any outside activities—just purely enjoy the room, the food, and the serene atmosphere during your whole stay.

Le bonus de ce séjour: l‘hôte possède un refuge pour animaux abandonnés et errants à côté de l‘hôtel.

Wir haben eine tolle Unterkunft erwartet, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden nochmals übertroffen. Die Zimmer ein absoluter Traum. Und, die Angestellten, wir hätten sie am liebsten umarmt, so freundlich wurden wir empfangen und mit allem versorgt was wir brauchten.

Das Zimmer mit dem Pool war ein Traum, tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Es hat im Zimmer an nichts gefehlt, wirklich sehr, sehr schön.
Das Personal war sehr lieb und aufmerksam, sehr gut geschult.
Massage war auch super.
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wenn man europäischen Standard sucht ist man hier richtig.
Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet,, so konnte man auch gut die Insel erkunden, das Hotel liegt sehr abseits. Aber kein Problem.
Wer keine Katzen mag ist hier falsch, ich liebe Katzen und finde das Projekt toll.

Das Epic Suites hat eine tolle Lage mit Blick auf das Meer.
Hier ist der Gast König, und die Menschen sind so sweet hier.
Zu meiner Person . Ich habe schon über 100 Hotels auf der Welt besucht und Versuche immer die Bewertung im Preis Leistungs Verhältnis zu schreiben. (Mann kann in einen Hostel halt nicht das erwarten was man in einen 5 Sterne Hotel Erwarten darf.) Nun zu diesem Hotel:
Wenn ich eine 12 geben könnte würde ich das machen . Wirklich !!!!
So liebe Menschen dann die Zimmer haben einen Pool mit Blick auf das Meer, man kann im Pool Frühstücken, der Service 10 von 10 und dann auch noch das durchdachte System mit einem Handy auf dem Zimmer wo nur 2 WhatsApp Kontakte sind: 1) Concierge der alles für einen macht. 2 ) Bar/Restaurenat die alles für einen machen. Wir haben songar noch ein Zimmer Update bekommen und beim Check out Kuchen und einen Anhänger.
