Lamrin Boutique Cottages was the perfect base for a restful, restorative two weeks in Rishikesh.

The cottage was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, with comfortable, elegant living spaces that made it easy to relax and unwind.

The location struck an ideal balance — peaceful and quiet, yet within easy reach of the town and the river.

What truly set the stay apart, though, was the staff. Anil, Kuldeep, Mahesh, Surendra and Sunaina could not have been more warm, attentive or genuinely kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their hospitality made me feel completely at home. Even when I became ill and needed medical attention, the staff quickly and professionally organised help for me that could not even match how quick I would have got attention back in the UK!

I absolutely enjoyed every aspect of my stay. From the moment I arrived to the time I left I received nothing but exceptional service. The place is extremely clean. The food is absolutely amazing and the best part is the staff are extremely friendly and very attentive . I would strongly recommend this place hands down.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. It strikes the perfect balance—incredibly central and within walking distance to everything, yet tucked away enough to offer complete peace and quiet from the city’s chaotic crowds.

The service here is unmatched. The staff was insanely helpful and available to assist with anything in an instant, and the manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another major highlight was the food—delicious, authentic, home-cooked meals that made the stay even more special.

Rishikesh itself was crazy hot and crowded during my visit, which made coming back to this quiet, air-conditioned sanctuary at the end of the day an absolute blessing. I couldn’t find a single fault with the property or the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Location was good

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique property. The team and food were excellent, and everything was thoughtfully customisable to our preferences. The stay felt warm, homely and extremely comfortable.
A special mention to the courteous staff, who truly went out of their way to help with anything we needed and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

Its a boutique villa apartment converted to a cottage. Great location, away from the maddening traffic but walkable to the Ganges. Modern with a little antique touches ,clean. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast limited choices but very tasty.

In times of heavy traffic access to and from the property is completely blocked by the moving traffic.

Das Personal ist wirklich außergewöhnlich ☺️

Fokussiert, zuverlässig, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam, herzlich, freundlich und sehr engagiert. Wir wurden verwöhnt! Die Angestellten sind liebevoll auf unsere individuellen Bedürfnisse eingegangen … so etwas haben wir noch nie in Indien erlebt, und wir waren schon sehr oft hier. Wir haben echte, nicht aufgesetzte, Herzlichkeit gespürt. Und besorgte Anteilnahme und diskrete Hilfe bei gesundheitlichen „fernreisetypischen“ 🤪 Problemen.

Die sehr zentrale Lage, in angenehmer Laufnähe zu Ram Jhula, Janki Setu und Ganga ji, ist optimal. Durch die höhere Lage am Hang ist man trotzdem in einem ruhigen und friedlichen„Kokon“ untergebracht. Wir haben hier fantastisch und vom Strassenchaos unbehelligt geschlafen. Das Anwesen ist sehr gut geschützt und wird rund um die Uhr sehr zuverlässig bewacht.

Wunderschöne Cottages mit sehr gemütlichen und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Unser Bett war extrem bequem!
Alles ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt.
Tägliche Reinigung.
Wunderbares authentisches indisches Essen (auch hier wird sehr individuell auf Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen), entweder im Zimmer serviert oder im Erdgeschoss: Auch hier mega-entspannt und sehr privat.
Eine sehr elegante, sehr friedliche und spirituelle Atmosphäre und Einrichtung, ganz wunderbar zu Rishikesh passend.

The staff were great and the place is situated in a peaceful leafy residential area away from the busy main road. A wonderful retreat place.

Helpful staff, tucked away in a quiet street

The bed was amazing. The room was very quiet, I was on the top floor. The bathroom was big (& clean). Outside my room was an outside balcony with nice views. The staff were very helpful. They carried my heavy bag up the stairs. When I left they arranged for transport across the river to the other side. Not far to walk (along the river) to the bridge (Ram Jhula) to the other side. They provide a laundry service which was returned the same day to my room on my return.
