A typical old-style hill resort. Don't expect too much. Reasonable value for money.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, though very slow. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Other staff didn't seem to be getting sufficient supervision, and were not doing their jobs so well.

Cons:

The restaurant wasn't cleaned in the morning, and the tables were dirty and greasy. The windows hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Bedroom cleanliness was tolerable, but could have been a lot better. Lots of litter outside bedroom windows.

Food was excellent...
They also arranged a bonfire on request, at nominal charge ....
The staff is polite, friendly and helpful all the time.
