Pros:

Great location, right on the square; it had an almost Mediterranean feel to it especially with the hot weather.

Cons:

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and I was in the room at the front directly above everyone talking outside, so it wasn’t very conducive with having an early night.

Great place to stay
Pros:

Village pub with a typically welsh feel. Great food, lovely beer garden with comfy seats and more seats out front. Food was great, really comfy bed and there was a fan in the room.

Cons:

No breakfast or puddings.

Three relaxing sunny days in beautiful Usk
Pros:

Wonderful location right on Town Square in the lovely town of Usk. A really welcoming bar, good food and friendly attentive staff.

Cons:

We've been many times to this place, more normally in spring and autumn. This time it was summer and the World Cup was on. So it's busier, no less friendly or welcoming just a bit busier than we're used to.

Tidy and friendly pub with rooms
Pros:

The complimentary breakfast treats were unexpected and a lovely gesture.
The bathroom was a good size and nice big shower, everything was really clean.
Parking was super easy in the square.
A perfect overnight stop.

TV a bit small but perfectly adequate.

Pros:

Very well appointed and clean garden room(Well located next to beer garden!) which was ideal for us with our dog.
Staff were very friendly and hotel itself was clean and welcoming.
We had the Ploughman's for dinner the food was of high quality and plentiful.
Will definately return and would highly recommend.

Would be happy to return to this property,
Pros:

Excellent Location, friendly staff, quaint room. They don't serve breakfast but have a small fridge in the room with plenty of supplies, inc juice, yoghurt, porridge, croissant's & fruit.

Cons:

Terrible Shower, literally a dribble! No way I could have washed my hair. Bathroom small.

Lovely place, get the breakfast issue sorted. Everybody else manages.

No breakfast available. I was not aware of this until I arrived. Disappointing.

Our stay was adequate for what we needed.
Pros:

They weren’t serving breakfast so we had to help ourselves from ingredients left on the landing.

We were not able to stay on the night booked but the manager kindly changed our booking with no extra charge to the following night.

Cons:

The noise from the traffic was really bad as two roads met outside the hotel. I know it is an old building but secondary glazing might help the front bedrooms.
