Ein Hotel mit Atmosphäre - für alle die, die sich in den gesichtslosen Einheitskästen nicht wohlfühlen.

Cons:

Der Komfort wird dadurch eingeschränkt, dass das Hotel kein eigenes Personal hat, sondern vom benachbarten Upstalsboom Parkhotel mitversorgt wird.

Old hotel with no lift, but reasonably priced and in good location.

The location is good and the room was clean.

Cons:

According to booking com there should have been free wifi. Upon arrival I was told there was an issue with the wifi and it was going to be fixed. After 4 nights it was never fixed....

Pros:

Nach 79 km Radtour Jade-Ems-Kanal war die Lage des Heerens Hotel für uns ausschlaggebend. Die Räder konnten sicher in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich.

Cons:

Das in die Jahre gekommene Hotel wird als Nebenhaus des Upstalsboom Parkhotel 2 Häuser weiter geführt. Dort befinden sich auch die Rezption (die uns einen unprofessionellen, knappen Empfang bereitete), die Tiefgarage und der große Frühstücksraum. Vermutlich aufgrund der Vielzahl an Zimmern Kantinenchrakter garantiert. Während unseres Frühstücks war auch eine Seniorenreisegruppe anwesend, die für Lautstärke und Unruhe sorgte. Im Hotel Heerens selbst kein Fahrstuhl, im Erdgeschoß sind Restaurant und Bar verschlossen. Durch die Lage an der Nebenstraße mit Kopfsteinpflaster war für uns mit Zimmer zur Straße gelegen die kurze Nacht inclusive.
