Not really a hotel, more like an AirBNB, with a cuteness factor…
Pros:

Cute, a bit on the small side

Cons:

It’s not really a hotel, and definitely not a three star one; no staff on site, and one has to call a German phone number in order to get access to the facility. Luckily, one of our U.S. phones was able to initiate an international call to that number - without the phone we would have stood in front of closed doors with no way to access our reservations. Room facilities are VERY basic - no coffee/tea service or other amenities….

Nice and clean room for an attractive price
Pros:

The room was compact but well-designed, clean and looks brand new. A lot of details are taken care of, for example: good ventilation in the bathroom without being audible. Private parking place and good breakfast. More than expected for the relative low price.

Cons:

The hotel is very good but the town of Esens is small and basic. On the other hand it is a perfect starting point for visiting the islands, only 10..15 minutes drives to the boats for the islands, and that is what we used it for.

Staff was friendly and easy to communicate.
Pros:

Nice and clean! Bed was top and comfortable to sleep. Bathroom is very clean. Breakfast was great!

Cons:

Parking lot was not great and not easy to get out.
Only pillow was not great and need more stuffed in pillow.
Shower Floor was very slippery and need sort of a small mat in shower to prevent fell.

Gemütliches Haus mit allem Komfort.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Es fehlte nichts . Wir hatten ein modernes sauberes Bad mit allem, was man benötigt.

Der Aufenthalt war ganz ok, nochmal würde ich dieses Hotel allerdings nicht mehr buchen.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Die Innenstadt ist nach einem kurzen Spaziergang gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war ganz ok. Leider keine frischen Brötchen und das Angebot an Müsli war auch sehr karg. In den Behältern war wenig drin, so dass man sich nicht getraut hat, den Rest zu nehmen, da man sich nicht sicher war, wie lange dieser Rest schon in den Behältern war.

Cons:

Der Duschkopf in der Dusche ist gefühlt schon seit langem defekt, er müsste mal ausgetauscht werden. Der Abfluss vom Waschbecken in unserem Zimmer hat fürchterlich gestunken, da hat uns das angebotene Raumspray tatsächlich nicht viel genutzt.

Frühstück für 12 50€ etwas schmal, Rühreier mit Speck gab es stark verspätet auf Nachfrage.
