we would like to stay here again due to location and price, but look forward to some improvements.

Cons:

the bathroom was really outdated (the hot and cold water did not sync), the pillows could do with replacing, and the room was cold (I had to sleep in a tracksuit)

Very convienient, quiet an good value for the location.
Pros:

Great location for town and racecourse. Easy to park. Staff very good before our stay as rang twice to try and accomodate a ground floor room for us. They were even going to see if someone else would mind moving upstairs. However this was not necessary but a kind tought.

Cons:

No lift and no decaf teabags. The very bright green light that shines all night in the ceiling near the door would be a real problem if you are light sensitive so bring eye mask if you are. As it was we were soo tired we went to sleep quickly and it did not matter too much to us. A softer pillow option would be useful. No staff on site but I guess this is how they keep the cost down.

Convenient but I won't be rushing back or recommending.
Pros:

I was exhibiting in the main racecourse building so it was perfectly located for that and it made parking very easy. There is no food provided and eating in the local restaurants is expensive although there are several places very nearby.

Cons:

Noisy, room is in need of major refurbishment. Curtain fell down, shower very hot or ran cold in the middle of using. No soap provided, iron or ironing board. Curtains tatty and thin. No staff makes one feel very vulnerable. Bed very soft and uncomfortable.
