Liked the fact that we didn’t have to interact with staff to check in and check out. They provided hair dryer, clean towels, shampoo and body wash gel.
The location of the lodge we got lost, I didn’t know that we’d have to enter the horse racing site. On the GPS it only shows a road that was gated and was not able to enter that way. The rooms were good but found a dead fly on the window sill, there was no hot water in the shower or tap water, but it was a heatwave at the time so I’m not complaining. Another thing they could improve on is that they could keep a vending machine in the lobby area with snacks drinks water. Because the kitchen is closed at night and I didn’t know where to find water apart from go all the way back into town to buy water.

It is what it is. Clean comfortable free parking and centrally located. No frills but good value for money.
A shaving mirror would be nice.
I prefer a shower as getting in and out of a bath at my age is not easy as slipping or falling is an issue.

Corridors abit dark & oppressive
Great location and very reasonable price. Easy to get into the room. Small place so easy to find the room. Liked the level of comfort.

The place was a little tired, the ceilings and the bathroom in particular looked pretty dated. Very small TV.

The team went above & beyond to sort out my requests allowing me to check in early & sorting out a ground floor room for me. The location was perfect for me.

Nice big rooms. Comfy bed and location was very good
Location was close to Esher and Hersham train station with trains running direct to central London till midnight. Hotel was also close to high street with good options for food and drink. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Free onsite parking was also a bonus! Overall good value.
No breakfast facility although labelled as B&B. No option we saw to partially open windows on the ground floor, so had to keep them shut throughout, which meant returning to a hot stuffy room on day when temp was 35°C plus. Though fans were provided in both rooms making sleeping comfortable.
