Pros:

I received a very warm welcome and was shown to my room. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable with an en-suite. The sink was rather tiny but the best they could do in the space!

Stayed for work , comfortable stay
Pros:

Lounge and self service breakfast room was well eqipped and stocked . Staff were friendly and helpful

I appreciated the stay and the host was very hospitable. Rooms over the bar were interesting.
Pros:

Not amazing, but ok. Self serve cold cereal and toast. No prepared breakfast available.

Cons:

I love Scottish breakfast. I would like to have that availble.

BREAKFAST INCLUDED IS A LIE
Pros:

The 2 staff Martin? And Evelyn ? We're real hard triers.
Monday to Thursday was peaceful.
Nice location to get around the country.

Cons:

In the guest book from 4 years previous were the same comments, which were quick fixes'- never done.
The bug graveyard in the room was only cleared up after it was mentioned
BREAKFAST INCLUDED IS A FALSEHOOD. it's access to a fridge and a bread bin plus a toaster.. Non of which is date managed.
Being so rural we had to think ahead for what we could buy to eat each morning. REALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
The power went out on the first morning the owner and the manager didn't answer calls from us, only the retired help Evelyn came in with reassuring words

Good location if you are heading to countryside or the castles nearby.
Pros:

Value for money, the facility was as described.
The staff was very polite and helpful.

Cons:

The only thing they can improve by stocking up the handwash in the common toilet and wash up liquid in the common kitchen area.

Pros:

Considering it was a Saturday and the pub was open until 1am, you couldn't really hear it from the room. Kitchen facilities were good. Everything was clean

Ok for 1 night, anymore than that and you’d be looking to cut your losses and move on
Pros:

Was alright, nothing outstanding

Cons:

Tiny bathroom, and I mean tiny, couldn’t wash your face in sink, breakfast included in price but you make yourself, toast basically, spring mattress which was a bit lumpy and out of date these days.
