Das Hotel als Anlage ist wunderbar, es liegt nicht zentral in Nizwa, sondern an der Ausfallstraße. Der Straßenlärm hält sich aber in Grenzen.

Cons:

Das Hotel war - wohl wegen des Irankriegs - ziemlich leer. Auf die Buchung hin bekam ich die Antwort, dass das Schwimmbad außer Betrieb ist. Das war schade, weil wir genau deshalb das Hotel gewählt hatten und Alternativen nicht wirklich zur Verfügung standen. Statt dessen bekamen wir ein Abendessen, das okay war. Man hätte nicht unbedingt europäische Küche anbieten müssen, die dann eben nur okay war. Ist vielleicht hilfreich, wenn man Gruppenreisen macht und die Leute nicht so experimentierfreudig sind.

Great stay outside of town
Pros:

It was an excellent short stay - beds very comfortable, gym on site, perfect for a workout, breakfast was also very good. Can't fault this hotel at all. The staff was also great.

Cons:

There are not really any communal places to sit during the day, the pool is not too shaded, only good if you want to get a tan. We went during ramadan and the bar area was closed - I understand no alcohol can be served but a shaded area to relax inside would have been appreciated.

Great stay for families
Pros:

Nice hotel if you want to stay a bit out of Nizwa center. Spacious rooms in a solid condition. Great garden with a pool, also with a child section. Polite staff and a lot of parking options. Overall, a good value for the price.

Cons:

Some places might need a bit of restoration or modernisation (plastic drains around the pool, restaurant). The breakfast was not bad, but I experienced better ones in Oman. A bit difficult to reach if you don't have your own car
