Pros:

La hospitalidad brindada por Don Hernan y Doña Gloria.
Excelentes anfitriones que te hacen sentir como si estuvieras de visita con tu propia famila. Te ofrecen paseos muy completos y personalizados.
Sus instalaciones son muy amplias y limpias y siempre hay agua caliente.
No dejen de visitar Quito, linda ciudad. Allí te harán sentir como local.

Quiet hotel Good value!
Pros:

A very nice hotel with a great breakfast. Hernan’s and Gloria were excellent hosts, drivers and guides.
Easy walking distance to the “old town”
A really nice bed, good sized room. A sitting room on each floor and lots of good advice .

A most comfortable stay in Quito
Pros:

The husband-wife team of Gloria and Hernan, who run the hotel, made me feel like a member of the family. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and to attend to anything I needed. I truly felt at home.

Cons:

My room was on the 2nd floor (level 3). Without a lift walking up several times a day was sometimes a bit arduous, given the altitude of Quito. I understand that in a traditional building it may not be possible to instal a lift but that is the only negative I can think of.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor kort verblijf in de Oldtown van Quito
Pros:

Fijn hotel, met erg vriendelijke eigenaren. Engels gaat een beetje met handen en voeten, maar communiceren lukt wel goed. De oude stad is goed te voet bereikbaar vanuit het hotel en een wasserette licht op paar honderd meter van de accommodatie.

Cons:

Het tweepersoonsbed is aan de smalle kant voor twee personen, dekens zijn dan ook niet breed genoeg.

Great location and caring hosts, but needs urgent maintenance
Pros:

​Excellent location: The hotel is perfectly situated right in the historic center.

​Great service: Gloria was incredibly punctual with the breakfast, which was good. The hosts are caring people, and I reckon they will easily make the necessary adjustments with time

Cons:

Room maintenance needed: The place needs some repairs before earning a better rating. The door to one of our rooms wouldn't close properly, and neither room had curtains.

​Missing basic amenities: There were no hooks to hang towels, no toothbrush holders, and no shelves for shampoo or soap, forcing us to leave toiletries on the floor.

​Bathroom issues: The bathroom floor had no functioning drainage. Also, despite having three guests in our room, it took over 24 hours to get a third towel.

​Safety concerns: The stairs, steps, and rugs are quite slippery and felt a little dangerous.

Muy cerca del centro, en una calle con mucho encanto y locales muy interesantes.
Desayuno continental bueno.

Quiet in Quito
Pros:

This place is a gem. Beautiful period interior finish with polished wood look located on the edge of the Historical Centre, making it quiet yet an easy walk to the lively area. Hernan took care of airport pick up/drop off (its about 45km) and provided a tour of the volcanoe and Centre of the Earth. Dont miss it when in Quito, being on 0 degrees and leatrning the science in the museum is fun and a treat. My thanks to excellent the hosts.
