Pros:

Great location, quirky.

Cons:

We booked a 4 person bunk room. Unfortunately the beds were unbelievably uncomfortable. They are the tatami mat Japanese style beds however these would have to be the most uncomfortable of this style I have ever slept on. Additionally, because the 4 bunk setup is on a single welded steel frame with flimsy chipboard walls separating each bunk, each time anyone moved it would squeak so badly it would wake everyone up. We stayed the first night (of 6 booked) and it was so uncomfortable we changed hotels after this. We were unable to get any sort of refund which was a real shame however the beds were so comfortable it was not worth ruining our stay in Osaka because of this. Otherwise it’s a reasonable hotel if you can guarantee the beds are western style. The advertising on Booking.com as well as the client website is not very good at explaining the bedding situation.
