Ruhige Lage, alt aber sauber

Cons:

Man musste zu lange Wasser laufen lassen bis es überhaupt mal wärmer wurde. Zuviel Verschwendung. Und eine Wasserflasche ( Service vom Hotel) war schon angebrochen.

Investment is needed to improve the hotel
Pros:

The breakfast is not bad because, the owner makes all the efforts to make guests feel welcome, but it is the facility itself that does not help.

Cons:

I regret writing this, but I do so only as a "bulid.in comment".
The owner is kind and very helpful, but there are some issues that do not work well.
- Check-in must be staffed at least from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or at least, available remotely (I had to wait 30 minutes outside because there was no one to open the door when I arrived at 6:00 PM).
- The rooms are old-style and although the decor doesn't matter to me, the room sizes are quite debatable, and the bed was small for me (I am 175 cm tall).
Additionally, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything throughout the night.

I understand that prices increase during the Dusseldorf's exhibitions, but considering the location (24 km from the fair) and the condition of the hotel, the value for money is truly unsatisfactory.
