Très bel endroit
Pros:

Nous n’avons passé que une seule nuit dans cet établissement, mais c’était magique… Le lieu est vraiment très beau, la piscine, la vue extraordinaire, le coucher de soleil, sincèrement tout le monde a vraiment apprécié ce trop court séjour… le petit déjeuner était très bien et sur la terrasse, avec cette vue sur mer, que demander de plus… Vraiment le lieu est très beau. Nous reviendrons si nous passons à proximité avec un immense plaisir

Bella struttura, cortesia ed eleganza ma sorprese al chekout poco apprezzate
Pros:

Struttura elegante con vista panoramica sulla scogliera a picco sul mare. La colazione in terrazza all'aperto con lo sfondo del mare e nelle giornate giuste anche la vista delle Eolie vicine come a poterle afferrare. Oltre ad uno scarno buffet, ottima presenza e cordialità dello chef direttamente in terrazza che prepara a vista con una postazione ciò che desideri. Dalle omelette alle uova strapazzate con bacon, si lasciava spazio a qualunque richiesta posisbile. Persona molto gradevole e simpatica. Dimensioni delle stanze accettabili e terrazzino che si affacciava sulla piscina. Cordialità del personale. Il wi-fi funzionava bene in tutta la struttura per fortuna altrimenti linea zero.

Cons:

Stanze e bagni un pò passati e con evidenti segni del tempo nonostante qualche minima ristrutturazione. Trappola #1. A bordo piscina c'erano dei cartelli con i contatti tper ordinare dal bar e ricevere tutto appunto in quell'area. Purtroppo al check out ci comunicano che su ogni ordinazione che abbiamo fatto è stato caricato il 50% del prezzo come servizio ma NESSUNO ce ne ha avvisato prima ne era scritto da nessuna parte. Risultato di due Gin Tonic che da 24 arrivano a 36 euro. #Trappola2 Prima della prenotazione avevo telefonato e chiesto eventuale prezzo aggiuntivo per il cagnolino, risposta 20€. Al check out vedo sullo scontrino, ad oggi ancora conservato, che ne sono stati caricati 25€. #Trappola 3 Questione delle Tasse di soggiorno. Come da screen fatto su app BOOKING durante la prenotazione, mostrato anche al personale dell'hotel durante il pagamento, il prezzo comprendeva imposte e tasse incluse 5€ della tassa di soggiorno. Dopo alcuni minuti di convincimento le 5€ sono sparite da una parte e riapparse come maggiorazione del prezzo pulizia animali. Come dire uscito dalla porta e rientrato dalla finestra. Strana coincidenza?

Okay, mainly if you go for the pool and the view.
Pros:

The view was amazing, unmatched. The pool was also gorgeous.

Cons:

No shower curtain or any way to block the shower really. The bathroom was basically flooded after a shower. Decoration was so so, felt pretty dated. The breakfast was pretty meh.

Très belle halte face à la Sicile
Pros:

Hôtel très bien situé avec vue imprenable de la chambre et de la terrasse sur laquelle nous avons dîné. Superbe vue sur la Sicile et le Stromboli visible au coucher du soleil. Nuit très calme (l'hôtel était quasiment vide)

Nice reception staff who allocated us a room with fewer stairs at short notice

Cons:

It has a 'resort' feel rather than that of a hotel, probably because jt is very much a wedding venue so is a bit soulless. The restaurant attached to the venue was odd. There was nothing but meat available and everything, even sausages, were charged by weight.
This is normal with T bone steaks or fish but seemed excessive.
We werent very hungry so each of us chose the lightest meat choice on the menu even though we were pressed to have more courses. My first choice wasnt available apparently. I was told there was no white wine by the glass even though it was on the menu. When I said I didnt drink red wine white miraculously appeared. Later when I checked the bill they had charged us for 3 meat courses and the waiter was less than apologetic when we pointed this out. The extra cost was changed but when I paid the whole bill the next day the extra charge had not been removed. I have lived in Italy for 40 years so have a good feel for when we are being treated as guillable tourists and this was one of those times. Overall a reasonable stay but spoilt by the restaurant.
