Fourz Hotel Kintetsu Osaka-Namba

Die Lage in Namba, direkt in der Nähe von Dotonbori, aber dennoch in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse, ist einfach unschlagbar 😃 Das Hotel machte einen sehr modernen, sauberen und aufgeräumten Eindruck. Die Zimmergrösse entspricht dem Standard in grösseren japanischen Städten (teurer Boden...), hätte aber doch vielleicht ein bisschen grösser sein können. Da man ja aber eigentlich nur im Zimmer übernachtet und ansonsten tagsüber in Osaka unterwegs ist, ist dies definitiv "Jammern auf hohem Niveau" 😃 Beim Self-Check-In war zufälligerweise gerade ein Hotelangestellter zugegen, welcher das Check-In am Touchscreen gleich für mich übernommen hat 😃 Und ein sehr grosses Plus ist natürlich das vorhandene Gemeinschaftsbad, welches auch Gäste mit Tattoos benützen dürfen (ist in Japan nicht selbstverständlich). Beim Auschecken hat sich dann noch ein japanischer Hotelangestellter in gutem Englisch sowie sehr freundlich und interessiert mit mir über japanisches Baseball unterhalten. Das sind halt alles so kleine Dinge, die mir als Hotelgast gezeigt haben, dass ich hier willkommen bin 😃 Es gibt also meiner Meinung nach nicht das Geringste zu bemängeln und ich werde dieses Hotel bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Osaka bestimmt wieder buchen 😃

Location is incredible

Excellent location, very convenient to Dotonbori and key transport lines. Great small onsen on the top floor that was very quiet.

Absolute WORST hotel I have ever booked! I don’t even know where to start with everything that was wrong with this hotel. The building is old, the rooms are old, the room is so small you can barely walk in it let alone get any luggage in there, the room was dirty, the room smelled, the manager was a nightmare, and I don’t know why this hotel doesn’t have lower ratings. This was our first trip to Osaka, Japan, and we did not realize that most of the hotel’s have a rule only two people per room, regardless of room or bed size. We had our daughter with us, and the other hotels accommodated us and let her stay with us, but charged an additional fee. This hotel flat out refused to let the three of us stay together, and they were completely sold out so we couldn’t purchase a second room. We decided for my daughter and I to stay at the hotel, and my husband to walk to another hotel and get a room there. After being in the room for only 10 minutes, we left and went and stayed at my husband’s hotel. I had put the slippers on that are given in the room, and when I looked at the bottom of them, there was hair on them like the floor was not clean. There was also a smell to the room like it had not been cleaned. I emailed the hotel and asked for a refund because I had left the room due to it not being clean. The hotel refused to give me a refund. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel that my husband checked into not only accommodated us by allowing our daughter to stay in the same room with us, but upgraded our room at no cost so that we had more space. That hotel is within walking distance.

Rooms were super nice, comfortable, big enough, shower is perfect.

This property is quite new and extremely clean, staff were lovely and very helpful. It’s a great value property, in an unbeatable location in Osaka with a bonus that it has a rooftop onsen to relax in at the end of the day.

It is so close to everything and in such a great older style neighbourhood amongst all the little bars and eateries! Such a great vibe and base from which to Osaka and surrounds as it’s a few steps to access Namba station. While it’s on the edge of Dotonburi it is tucked away in a quiet location.

It was handy having the seven eleven and laundry across the street, and the bar next door became our end of night ritual for great food and beers.

Great location (I’m not someone who loves busy cities but if you want this, its a great location)
