It felt very relaxing in there,the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast was good and the meal we had in the evening was lovely
Could do with the choice of a Continental breakfast..As not everyone ate a fried breakfast.
They have a food offering now in the evening :o)
unfortunately breakfast was served at 08:00am. I had to be a work at 08:00am so missed out.

Milk was off in the room so couldn’t have a coffee. Went down for breakfast only to find nobody there and all locked up so no breakfast.
This was a booking for my parents who absolutely loved it, especially the complimentary gift bag of continental breakfast etc etc. They are not used to staying over anywhere, this was a perfect location for Christmas day. I had already popped into the King's Head to check out rooms as my Dad had recently had heart surgery. I wanted to make sure it was suitable. Sadly for the King's Head, the morning they were going to check in a car hit the side of the pub. They came to my daughter's saying they didn't think they would be able to stay there. Luckily for them, but not for the landlord the damage was at the front of the pub, so their room was not affected. This memory of their experience will stay with them forever, thank you.
The staff were amazing especially the two woman we met. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic no complaints. It was a very cozy cottage feel to it. Would 100% come back.
