Enjoyable stay for the short period I was there.
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel as I was interested in visiting the U-Boat museum and the Marine memorial, and these were only a few 10’s of meters away. I contacted the hotel to explain that I probably wouldn’t be there at the time I said I would due to delays on the trains, and they explained where my key would be if there was no-one around when I arrived. When I got into my room on arrival, I noticed an item in the toilet; in the morning I spoke to housekeeping and the object was removed before I returned from breakfast. The breakfast was very nice, and well presented, as was my room. If I went to the area again, I would definitely consider staying there again.

Cons:

I thought the room rate was a little on the high side considering a hotel a little down the road, but still near the attractions I was going to visit, was charging less than 2/3rds the rate I paid; presumably this is why I couldn’t get a room there. . .

Nothing to do with the hotel, but worth considering if you are visiting for the beach; the beach isn’t free to use, there are pay-stations along the promenade where you buy a token, or some such, to use it.

Spontan und bezahlbar ein Tag am Meer - das geht hier.
Pros:

Geräumige Zimmer, sehr entgegenkommender Rezeptionist, tolle Kinderkarte im Restaurant, direkt am Strand und neben den Sehenswürdigkeiten

Cons:

Das Frühstück hat Luft nach oben. Die Einrichtung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber auch seinen Charme. Die Lage ist etwas ab vom Schuss.

So ein gutes Essen bekam ich selten!
Sehr, sehr lecker + die Weinempfehlung(Merlot)zum Lamm - passte sehr gut!

Cons:

Der Meerblick war seitlich!
Beim ersten Aufenthalt könnten wir vom Bett auf das Meer schauen .
Das erwartete ich wieder- bekam es nicht.
Die Matratzen müssen getauscht werden.
