Very good location, very helpful staff, breakfast needs to improve, better to avoid

Great location, very helpful staff who upgraded us to a spacious room as we had paid more than the 'current' rate booking ahead with booking.com.

Cons:

Breakfast very poor, coffee DREADFUL! (a Nescafe type mix)

Ideal for exploring Porto
Pros:

The staff were great on reception, providing plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to eat.

Room was spacious and clean. The hotel was very well positioned for getting around Porto. Good meal one evening in the restaurant.

Cons:

No ordinary tea in the room!

Swimming pool not operational at the time of our visit.

A lot of good restaurants around, you don't need to go (literally) downtown even if it's 15-20 minutes

Cons:

The pool was closed when I was there but it wasn't advertised on booking, just fyi
In the night and early in the morning there were people screaming in the corridor but impolite guests are everywhere.....
It's not possible to have breakfast a la carte, you can only get the entry for the full buffet for 15€ pp

Perfect location and hotel for this visit
Pros:

Perfect location, amazing service and completely clean hotel. I will be back here. It can get a little noisy during the day and at night some people may be coming from bars, so check on the location they place you.
