Pros:

Location was good for what i needed

Cons:

The room had a strong smell of perfume, was unplesant. the bathroom carpet was full of dirt. The bed had bugs.

Ok stay
Pros:

Difficult to get there. Booked for queen bed but got two single bed..hard to find the location from airport i side of the road..

Cons:

Provide not more convenience and provide the facilities mentioned on the website.

Overnight Airport Hotel
Pros:

As an airport hotel it offered everything we needed. The airport is a short taxi/tuk tuk ride away, not really walkable but the hotel arranged this for us Very useful having a restaurant downstairs for both evening meals and breakfast

There is a lot of competition to AS Airport Inn at Athani, so consider all options.
Pros:

I used this airport as a step off point for the airport as my usual go to hotel, Diana Heights, was fully booked. I was staying merely one night and I needed an inexpensive shuttle to the airport on time. For these purposes, the facility worked most sufficiently. The air conditioner in the room worked a treat despite the windows not closing completely securely, and therefore also open to the noises on the street outside. I amused myself with the comings and goings on the highway outside. The hotel also has a basement parking which is very handy. It is next door to a terrific restaurant called Salkara which provides brilliant food at good prices. The bathrooms were well appointed, squeaky clean and supplied at a basic level. There are plenty of local country tea shops and some very good grocery shops and ATM's just outside of the hotel, and I amused myself buying a few mementos for the journey back the UK, and also allowed myself one final immersion in the Kerala street milieu. The boys at the desk were helpful and obliging. In fact the lead staff member safely passed my car key to the driver collecting it at a later point in the day, and they passed this dependability test with flying colours.

I loved the paintings of various planes on the walls of the corridors with little notes beside them. They were very engaging..I only wished I had studied them more meticulously.

Cons:

The bedsheet on one of the two beds was stained, and one always feels somewhat put off by the thought that the sheets were used and then not cleaned. However, I was determined to overlook this and use the other bed (I was travelling single). Also the mat outside the bathroom did not look completely freshly cleaned. There was no lift to ascend from the street level to the hotel level, or from the basement. Unless the boys at the reception assist, which they were only too happy to, you'd be snookered. Over all, there is an unmistakable lodge like feel to this hotel.
